We have heard your concerns with the current Refer A Friend system implementation and will be temporarily disabling it.
Because we aren’t fans of letting a small issue ruin the fun for others, we will be granting everyone who owns a copy of Last Epoch all three of the bee pets.
However, the teams here are very focused on getting services back up and working. As a result of us not wanting to take time away from that, we are going to hold off on granting these rewards until services are stable.
Our current plan is to monitor the situation and grant all three bee pets, and the Autumnal Wrap (Cape) to everyone who owns Last Epoch no later than Friday, Mar 1st.

Good decision. I actually think this bee’s referral thing is better positioned as a “beesfriends” thing. Like how Lost Ark did it - get people to add you as friend and you get a bee. Would encourage travelers to explore the social systems in the game (not much I know ).
Really when they give you a system for you to purchase something then just give it away to everyone that’s a them problem actually. This is the same as if they just one day gave all the shop items for free.

you are just angry you tried to game the system to get something limited and people complained and ruined the system for you and now your risk didnt pay off.,… and now you want compensated??? entitlement to the max… you took a risk and it didnt pay off now eat it.
I dont know why you cant see the issue. Lots of games have a referral program the idea is you get people to play the game and you get rewards to show off. I bought 3 copies for people who would probably not have played otherwise so I could get an item in the game to show my support for the game. Now they just gave the thing to everyone even those who have done nothing to help bring other players to the game that is not a me problem that is a them problem.
I bought copies for people who were not really into these types of games I am like hey I will buy it for you try it out and use my referral code I did not game the system I was using the system how it was meant to be used not like all the other people trying to get people already playing the game to use their code.
