Hi there, I got this problem after the patch no matter how many times I launch the game I got stuck on logging screen and its telling “please wait”
I tried verifying files through steam still the same problem.
any help would be appreciated
at least I know now I am not the only one here lol
The portal doesn’t even show up forme, all i get is an empty window…
I believe the new patch caused some issues to some people
Same problem, stuck on login screen. Nothing is on the info entering panel, its just blank.
Hi everyone! We’re actively working on this problem.
If everyone affected could provide their log file and say whether you’re using the Steam or Standalone version that would help us a lot.
Also stuck on login screen. Nothing shows up, there’s no blue portal, no “cancel” button, it’s just an empty box below the LAST EPOCH / BETA 0.8.2 title text. I can enter settings and exit in the lower left, that’s about it. The program has two threads that seem stuck in an infinite loop because it’s pulling CPU (might just be the renderer).
Standalone client, Linux (nvidia 460 drivers; base system based on Ubuntu 20). Same thing happens when I try to launch the Steam-installed client.
Player.log (18.2 KB)
switched to steam after the patch thought it was an issue in the standalone but it was in both standalone and steam.
logs :
Player.log (11.1 KB)
Player-prev.log (11.1 KB)
same here…I’m stuck at login screen
Also stuck at the login using standalone. Completely blank screen the same as @tope
Player.log (9.7 KB)
Having the same problem on a standalone client as @tope reported already. Issue started after the latest patch (0.8.2)
Sad times, just bought the game to play with my friends.
Player-prev.log (9.8 KB) - Standalone.
Hello, i have the same problem after buying the game and doing a fresh installation two times just to be sure it was not something wrong with the first one.
Game loads and i get the same results as @tope
Player.log (8.7 KB) - Standalone client
same problem here, standalone client
Not a player problem It’s a game development problem
