Same problem.
I have RTX 4060TI
ryzen 9 3900X
16GB DDR4

I have fps drops from 170 to 10, even lower very often. Cant play normaly cause of big fps drops. Please fix it

Playing as Warlock

Same here.

Rtx 3060 ti
Amd ryzen 5 3600.
Restarting the game fixes it for a bit, but after 5-10 monos fps is tanking again.

Yeah, I’m also having issues. It seems like there could also be a memory leak. I played for a few hours & my fps was fine, then all of a sudden, every encounter I had with a group of enemies, my fps dropped to 5-10.

Same here. It only started happening today for me. Everything was smooth as silk before now it fps drops to a point I can barely play (only happens in combat)

Yeah exactly, sometimes I play on ultra very easily, them something happens and it’s like the game “corrupts”, and from then onwards the issue starts and never ends and I have to restart the game. I’m not expert but there’s definitely a moment where something triggers and the FPS are stuck

FPS drop for me to 30 in case of high density monsters fight, from at least 80fps when no fight ongoing. I tought is a server issue, but saw that some already tested it in offline and still the same? strange then,. but is not a graphics issue I think.
I have RTX 3060 12GB, AMD 3600x, 32GB RAM in dual channel, SSD, 1 Gbit fiber-optic internet connection. no issues in other online games.

Hi guys, same issue for me. I’m not running high specs, RX6600 ryzen 5600 16gb 3200hmz RAM. Changing the graphics does nothing for me as well, monoliths dip to ~40 fps, no matter the graphics. Campaign was smooth sailing with 90-130 fps until the sand part of the lore where performance dropped too, but monoliths are the worst.

is due to monster density. in campaign density is not so high but in some monoliths is very high sometimes. I remember Diablo 3 issues when playing in party of 4 and very high density and using skills that hit with high frequecy, the servers do not manage them and game get stuck for few seconds. we even learned what to not use, e.g. area damage 0 on items cause was very computational intensive for servers

Thanks for the input @DPC23 :slightly_smiling_face: I also forgot to mention that the game randomly completely freezes for me and the PC needs to hard restart, legit crash. Never happens for me on any other game, Cyberpunk with tweaked settings ~60 fps, other demanding games do not crash as well. Borderlands 3 on high settings run 100fps comfortably. I’m afraid either there’s something with the drivers, or Last Epoch itself.

I’m having issues with FPS and GPU utilization mostly. The game always runs at 99% util while barley pushing 100 FPS. Player Camps are the worst, FPS drops there by like 50%.

My Specs.
RX 6800
5600 x
32 GB RAM
SSD NVME m.2
1440p Monitor

Settings: Everything on Ultra
But this being on anything else, even low does very little to performance or my GPU utilization.

Have any of this issues been addressed? Are they working with AMD/NVIDIA/INTEL on seeing what’s causing these issues?
It’s been a week and it’s frustrating having 0 updates on these issues.

Getting less than 40 fps with warlock as low at 14 fps.
3070, 12600k, 32GB of RAM, low to medium settings.
Getting capped 143 FPS in towns, but combat lags so bad game is unplayable.

I have RTX 4060TI
ryzen 9 3900X
16GB DDR4

having same issues as everyone else

lowest graphics, 1920x1080 resolution(worse on 2560x1440), frame rate locked to 144, updated graphics card, reinstalled the game twice, playing on fullscreen and have tried borderless window, I even dusted out my PC and reseated my pump/cpu/gpu

  • During empowered monoliths im dropping to 30 frames with big density packs, sometimes freezing for 0.5-1 seconds at a time, multiple times throughout.

  • teleporting through the exit portal after completing a monolith is just a 1 second freeze when appearing in town

  • hovering items in inventory significantly drops FPS for seemingly no reason as someone
has mentioned above in the thread

  • opening inventory, collecting bulk shards off the ground all drop my frates for half a second by 50%

  • standing in echo of a world is stable, but doing anything else will drop frames significantly

  • skeleton mobs literally turn my game into single digit gameplay, its unbearable

hopefully this gets addressed this, the only thing holding this game back is the silence about this issue.

This is what my FPS used to be, https://imgur.com/a/f8RPW7z

And this is what it looks like now, https://imgur.com/a/unifkCN

Not that it’s unplayable, but very stuttery, and frankly it says 72 average, but you can see it dropping as I play. Hoping that it’s a problem on my side that I can fix, but idk, nothing has changed on my end.

Same here. The game run smoothly for about 3 hours of gameplay but my FPS drop suddenly from 120 FPS to 60 FPS or below sometimes and then I can’t go above 80 FPS after a while and the GPU utilisation doesn’t past 80% most of the time. Restarting the game fix temporarily my issue but it start over again after 2 - 3 hours.

Here my spec:

R9 5950X
RX 6700 XT
32 GB

I got that spikes too! This game seems overall bad optimized.
I dont see them fixing this with 1 Patch. Sadly …

4070 Super
32GBRAM

I’ve got the i7-13700hx with 140 watt Rtx 4070 laptop Gpu, and I use all very high with detailed shadows enabled, and ultra for ground detail @ 2560x1600 and it seems as though my warpath skill can drop the fps between 10 to 20 fps.

I’m always fluctuating around 85 to 95 in the most intense areas but occasionally I can dip down around 60 to 70 but 99.9% it never drops below 60fps meanwhile about 95% of the time I’m at that 85 to 95 until I use warpath, and that’s what drops the frame rate lower usually about 20fps down around mid 70’s but can go lower.

Overall the performance is great even in some of the high mob density monoliths with the exception of a few areas when the drops happen I described above.

Also try going into Nvidia control panel, and turn low latency mode to ultra since it’s a dx11 game it’s supported, and for me it really helps a lot with input lag, and responsiveness and feels much better !

Yep, Alot op fps drops in monoliths.

Updated all my drivers, fixed it for like 1H then again fps drops.

Same here monoliths and specially arenas are hell for my fps I am low with everything locked to 60 fps and still going to 10-15. I do play on the laptop but with crazy good hardware: 12gen intel i7, 16gb ram, geforce RTX 3080 ti. Would be great to at least know if this is getting looked at

Noticed it yesterday worse than any other day. Most days have been fine not sure what happened, but all my setting are the same. I rried full screen, windowed, and windowed full screen. I was getting around 120 fps prior but was getting around 20-40 at times when in combat.
