Why does a single player game have to teach players how to play the game? Any BD takes several days to form. Fixing bugs directly leads to the complete invalidation of equipment. Is this the original intention of playing games? It will only give people a sense of frustration. It’s a junk game, and I really want to get a refund
Basic understanding of mathematics, a rough idea of how much a skill should grow based on these numbers, visual perception, and the realization that the growth of the area is far greater than expected.
People came to play builds and have fun, the developers had a year to fix it, there is no need to shift responsibility
do i have to make this kind of research and calculations on every skill point? When am i supposed to play the game? Please tell me.
Ans also, who is supposed to refund me when i just copy the build? The streamer? Maxroll? Lastepocktools? The youtuber? EHG? Who? lol
I hope with this policy -it will be interesting for you to play with yourself (do not clear the screen with 1 button).
Why do I need your game then?!
If it does not provide pleasure.(weakening during the cycle )
If I want to poke a mob with a stick, I’ll play Titan Quest, D2, D4.
From Action Rpg -I’m waiting for a fan!!!
P:S And yes, when I saw this post, I ROLLED MY EYES,
If you stick to your policy( ) … then I hope you go bankrupt.
It’s good that a new PoE league is coming out on the 29th.
That isn’t research, just basic observation of a massive discrepancy. Consider taking a node that says “deals 100% more damage”. If it’s 105%, it isn’t obvious at a glance. But if you deal 3 times the damage instead of twice the damage, it becomes obvious.
You are not entitled to refunds just because EHG fixes a bug. It doesn’t matter if external people say or suggest that there is no bug - they were mistaken, it seems. Complain to them (edit: if they said it isn’t bugged).
Ok, i have to test EVERY point in my class tree, every point in every skill tree. I have to avoid each over-performing node. I have to avoid every under-performing node. I have (hopefully) to avoid every node that is just not working. Then i have to do the same kind of testing about EVERY skill interactions just to see if everything is performing as expected. I suppose that i have to do the same thing on the unique items i want to add to the build just to be sure that there is no wierd buggy interactions between every class and skill node and skills.
All of this because i can’t trust the game and the developers with the awareness that if i miss something and invest in the wrong interaction i’m the one that is going to be punished even if the responsibility about this mess is not mine. I have to admit it’s quite a burden to bear.
Do you realize that this is not realistic? Do you live in your dreams?
No, you derive exaggerated statements from what I said.
You may have missed my point: some things are obviously misbehaving. When you have gathered that much dexterity, it becomes obvious that something isn’t working as intended. This isn’t a small discrepancy. And the involved interactions aren’t incredibly deep.
My reply was specifically to your question how you could have noticed that something was probably bugged.
100% increased area of a circle with 5 cm² is 10 cm². The difference in radius is ~1.26 to ~1.76. So if you see a radius that is double in size (1.26 x 2 = ~2.52), something is off. It’s a quadratic disparity, so doubling the radius equals quadrupling the area. That’s stuff that people usually learn in school before they are 18, so pretty much basic mathematic knowledge.
On another note:
I didn’t say you shouldn’t use the skill, even if you realize it is bugged, I didn’t make any statement about this. But to have my opinion for this on the record: Have fun with it while it lasts, but don’t complain if it is then fixed, not matter when it is done.
Idk why there’s sooo much drama about this bugfixes, the affected skills are still usable to some great extent, tweak your builds, adapt your playstyle and lower you corruption levels accordingly.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ballista BTFO.
I will predict the next 2 “bug fixes”.
1 - We have discovered that Runemaster has Ward and have decided they shouldn’t.
2 - We have discovered that Wraithlord does damage and have decided they shouldn’t do that either.
The community vote has handed EHG a Sword with unlimited power under the guise it’s a Shield.
You must have a very small tinfoil hat…
On the topic itself. I’m pleasently suprised EHG rooting out all the bugs there are.
I am not exaggerating. This game has a passive points system that allows you to stack multiple multipliers one on top of another. A “fix” to one single node can halve your build corruption pushing capability.
And no i’m not going to take a ruler to calculate a damn skill area of effect. Because the animation is not precise enough, i have no data about base stats of it and also because i’m here to play a damn game.
I will play the nodes that perform well and will discard the ones that do not. I don’t want to do investigations since i’m here to kill enemies and loot the stuff to min max my character to kill even more stuff and get even more loot.
But i realize that you can’t even understand the basic min-maxing concept and going all in in one character. I can see 7 characters on your profile in 3 weeks of this league and the highest one is lvl 93 and your faction rank is 7 so i guess you never passed 300 corruption. I made 1 character and invested 10 hours per day on it since release.
We are playing on 2 completely different planes to understand each other and you are not entitled to have an objective opinion regarding a build-breaking mid-league “fix” on your only character with hundreds of hours of investment on it.
I don’t like what you said so I’ll mock you on a personal level
I’ll take this moment to tip it to you for your comedic brilliance and unparalleled interpersonal skills.
tyvm
So now that I finally have decent enough gear to even play the build it’s getting nerfed. The feels an awful lot like what D4 did to peoples builds. Good to know it was a waste of time.
Didn’t you notice the quadratic disparity? What was you doing instead of going to school? Your bad.
Nice you brought up math I haven’t used in over 20 years. Thanks.
It wasn’t me but you are welcome.
The sheer vitriolic babyrage about a minor bugfix slightly lowering a build’s range is hilariously unhinged.
“Oh no, I don’t blow up the whole screen with one button, Last Epoch has fallen, Billions of builds must die!”
