Unable to interact with npcs and objects in town

Detailed description:
Hello, I have run into a bug which makes my player/character unable to interact with stores, npcs, portals, and quest givers.

What were you doing at the time?
I was playing online, and in a party of 3 players. My character is level 20 Primalist. My friend who is higher level than I, and farther along the questline, made a portal that I followed to a new town. Since arriving at the new town I cannot interact with anything or anyone. I went to the previous town in the questline, but I still couldn’t interact. I continued to play the game by travelling via the map screen to meet-up with my party. I can kill monsters and loot items, but whenever I return to town the problem persists.

How consistently does this happen?
It seems to be always affecting my character whenever I am in a town. So far it has persisted across 3 sessions.

What Have you done to try and fix it?
left my party and tried to play solo
quit the game and restarted my computer
verified my game files through steam and tried again
uninstalled and reinstalled the game

Hi Taqhart,

I was having the same issue, and after looking at your video, I realized we both had the same left click binding “Move and then use an ability” bound to the left click. If you change it back to just “Move and destroy boxes” (sorry can’t remember the real one it is), it should work again. I think the team just needs to make it so it also includes interacting with chests, npcs, etc. But that is a quick work around to get you back in the game.

Tjanssenwork, Thank you so much! Your fix works great. I just switch it to a different left click binding style and interactions work again.
