Time again to ask; what's the build plans for y'all?

Personally, Heartseeker + Cinderstrike w/ the new Uniq Helm that turns Heartseeker into a Throwing Skill. Throwing/Bow Fire damage per Recurve on Heartseeker. Burning Daggers on Heartseeker and Cinderstrike.

Honestly not sure how good clear is gonna be, but I suppose we are gonna find out. Should be fine for single target.

Lemme hear what y’all got planned. Gives me ideas for characters 2, 3, 4, 7, 19, 311…

I will go with Shadow Beacon Erasing Strike Void Beam + Devouring Orb Void Knight.

After that a couple more builds on my List that I will try out after that would be Hit/Crit Chaos Bolt Warlock (with the new Set Crafting using Isadora’s Set) and Solo Scorpion Beastmaster with Baby Scorpions and the new Inheritance of the Erased and Yulia’s Path

Yeah, probably something along these lines but with the new Witchfire relic.

Or a Brand Runemaster 'cause that shit’s broken.

Thinking ignite vengeance, with ironblades (can get to 100% proc chance) and HH, giving 3 attack hits that cause ignite per attack. Divine bolt can be 100% chance to proc for a potential 4th hit causing ignite per attack.

Will probably go Judgement too as scaling fire dot will be good for conc aura too.

No plan, really. I’ll just see what strikes my fancy at the time. Maybe something with totems, or hammers. I’m not likely to be playing from day 1.
I’m going to be playing legacy anyway, so there’s no rush.

I loved Brandmaster on release. Might need to do a redo later this cycle.

Sentinel is definitely on the list this cycle. Might be #2 build. I was thinking some dumb stuff tho w/ set crafting for Last Bear 2 piece + Shattered Lance set cold damage HP regen Paladin.

Slay them with searing vengeance! Side note: you’re a stronger man than I, I can’t stand Vengeance as a skill. Lmao

I have been going through so many possible ideas. While there are a few for other classes (Mana Guide mage or Shattered Lance on a primalist), most of my ideas are for Sentinel. Mostly FG playing around Forgemaster’s Might, but a few in Paladin or VK.

So I figure I’m gonna just level FG, see what uniques I drop and then lean into that build until I’ve seen how functional it is. If it works I’ll keep going and keep an eye out for the other items, if it doesn’t, I’ll try swapping to another option.

These thread shows a lot of the random ideas I’ve been tossing around in my head:

Legacy? But our reset!

Start rolling dice and gettin’ all random with it, man.

I’m glad to see someone else is on my absurd wavelength.

I play CoF, reset does little for me.
Not only that, but I don’t have as much time these days to play as I used to. So I’m not even sure if I’ll start a new character right away or if I’ll use one the existing ones first.

Depends on when I’ll actually be able to play, which likely won’t be on days 1 or 2.

Absolutely! Healing effectiveness and HP regen Paladin. Maybe Warpath or something or other. My favorite build in last cycle I did was HP regen Blademaster. That was awesome also.

Fair enough. Personally I love the stash reset even on CoF. Starting fresh is always fun. Life can certainly get in the way though. Whatever you play, whenever you play it, I hope your Abbys are easy and your drops are legendary.

I hadn’t been considering healing effect because I figured I’d just be stacking HP regen. Do you have a planner I could see? What are you using it for? Just the consecrated ground? Mine looks like: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/oYMeRW2o

Ignore the set chest. I’m not sure if that makes any sense. I was just leaning into the regen since the affix doesn’t include the 100% increased regen on stun, but I fully recognize that it’s probably worse than just having a real body armor.

Personally, up until now I’ve just stuck with legacy so I could just get to whatever I needed without starting from scratch but… my stash is so cluttered now that I just don’t want to deal with it anymore. (plus it lags) The other thing is with all the new endgame progression systems in 1.2 I kind of just want to experience the fresh start at least once just to be able to get a good judgement on how those systems work without it being clouded by just having a bunch of random loot already.

Not yet, I only made one for the Cycle-Start rogue ima be doin’. I could make one up but I honestly don’t know entirely yet how ima do it all. I gotta kill some Abbys on Burning Dags Rogue first.

Warpath Void Knight will be my first.

My second once I find some gear will probably be a Mana Guide Mage with Vilatria’s set affix crafts.

I am thinking of trying the Merchant Guild for the first time as well.

PS - I’ve heard through some videos that Summon Storm Crows is going to be pretty extremely OP for bossing and may be able to 1-shot Uber Abby, or near enough to. The playstyle, and use of snapshotting, is a bit unfun to me.

Sentinel main here looking forward too Season 2.

Starter is Pally and gonna abuse the new endurance threshold tech and some items to have almost all my HP covered by endurance. Ontop of that ignite is my favorite Dot and they got some juicy ignite upgrades where using holy aura has a 50% more modifier on all ignites.

With the changes to symbols of hope and holy aura being so strong then a passive that increases all of these 2 skill effects by 20% in pally tree. It’s gonna be a lot of fun. Then fire Vengeance with the more modifiers is gonna rip.

I will use this build to farm and acquire gear for my FG build which will be really OP using Sunforged set and the fact forged weapons were buffed. With 2hand and shield Manifest armor will be a god running at monsters with your forged army before they even get to you.

Also FG does have lots of unique options now with 2hand and shield you can wear Titan heart and be just a giga tank or the Mantle of the pale ox and have 24% dmg directed to your manifest armor. It’s gonna be fun but FG is a real slow starter and requires end game gear and the end notable to come online.

summon bear beastmaster. saw that it got some big buffs

Yea I did watch Aaron’s cocain bear video it was good. He killed Abby this season with it testing the build. The bear didn’t die either was a tank so definitely will be a strong build for Uber Abby with the right gear.

This is what has me excited. A lot more gear and build options. Literal MEME builds now possibly being OP which is what ARPGs are about.
