Time again to ask; what's the build plans for y'all?

yea watching Aarons video was what sold me on the build. if he could kill abby before the bear buff then the build should be good

I’m going to have to try Lich or Necromancer and looking for some set bonus with the new mechanic. Will probably make multiple classes to try out different things and played many throughout the years. Pumped to see all the new legendaries and new mechanics in season 2!

Definitely I’ll go a sentinel forge weapon build. Finally the time comes.
I can put a set item on a exalted item and he I’ll fuck everything

2 sentinel builds with set stuff in it. One for FG and one for VK caster
And low hp heartseeker later
+revision of Speardancer rogue. Probably the best entry point for me to learn new mechanics and craft reforged set pieces for sentinels and enchant rogue’s idols for marksman alike

I will be starting forge weapons with the new 2h and shield. Then going into a thornshell build with the new idols to see how crazy the scaling will get. With the forge weapons I am leaning toward either bleed or ignite.

build plans? i m going legacy 100%

lol why bother rerolling?

I want to try bladedancer, with probably full crit. Furry with nodes ā€œmore damage to bosses/rareā€ should give enough single target damage, Shadow cascade has high base crit chance and should be good for AoE, Smoke bomb to get silver shroud stack and some buffs, dash to auto-cast Shadow cascade and increase next attack damage, and lethal mirage to get another immune-to-damage window, to make gameplay even more engaging.

On paper, it looks like combat with this build should feel fun for me. Most other classes looks like they probably don’t have as engaging combat. Minion builds are by default less engaging, ranged builds can ignore a lot of mechanics, tanky builds are not punishing, less reactive and a bit boring for me.

Last patch I made a build using dodge converted to endurance threshold boots, I can confirm having almost all of your HP covered by END make you giga tanky. I was able to face tank the big Void dot slam from abby with it.

Doesn’t mean you can’t start a new character (like me, I’ll move from standard when they have season specific content).

your reply benefits me/anyone how?

Just letting you know that you can also start a new character in legacy as well. It’s not something that’s restricted to season, which is what you appeared to be thinking.

thats a big assumption. i literally just told someone that they can do that in a different response awhile ago. but thats fair. i cant expect people to stalk me 24 7 lol

Mostly I am just gonna be updating/finetuning my older builds but also:

  1. This Paladin spec for Vengeance/Healing hands, I had planned initially when HH was announced but didn’t get time to try out. Then Eye of Reen and HH ate big nerfs so I forgot about it but now it looks like its back! https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/ApDjOKxA
Gonna be giga tanky but main worry is damage. Vengeance and HH don’t have a lot of damage multipliers in their skill tree but Doom, Throne of ambition, Reen’s crit multi and fire pen should help fix that. I’ll see whether Rapid strikes is better than Vengeful fighter since I already got tons of attackspeed. Was toying between Paladin and FG but Pala wins hands down overall.

  2. Selfcast+Proc Lightning Blast, so the idea is to selfcast LB so you have maximum chains and also get autoprocs from static and frost wall which will have maximum chains. This allows to use convergence without being horrible clear (hopefully). Crits from selfcast LB and frost wall LB should sustain Static charges completely with convergence. If I do run below 80, I proc Static which makes every crit gain a charge. Use Focus occasionally to maintain mana. (very rudimentary planners as Idk if the playstyle will feel good to me)
Main plan is to use Wrongwarp like so : https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/o3p7amJA
But I was also thinking bout Tribolectra (I have a 3LP) and maybe involve Static Orb for additional chain. Could also use the additional points to spec into Spark nova for clear. But will need to see ingame how all this will play out. For example I tried testing Spark nova and they don’t even work rn (bugged and fixed per 1.2 patch note).

Devouring Orb Time rot, I made the build myself(though took some tech from other similar builds).

It passively summons devouring orb and when bossing uses various skills to buff my time rot damage multiple times over before using erasing strike to apply 10-12 stacks(due to echo) of heavily buffed time rot(this replaces the lower damage instances of time rot and thus results in massive burst).

By my calculations it is a lot of EHP, and its dps should reach the moon. Build is mostly just exalts and the forgotten knight set.

Untested though and min-maxing the effect of rot grip requires careful attention.

Imma roll Forge Guard with 2H+Shield.
Probably gonna use Warpath or Smelters Wrath.
I haven’t played since 1.0 so pretty hyped!

Heartseeker for sure and maybe some void knight shenanigans

Gonna work on my FC/ SO sorc on Legacy and see how bad the nerfs are after adding in all the new content.

Not really seeing any reason to reroll.

I’m going full FOTM this season… I’ve suffered through the slog that is PoE 2 and I just need to have some good ol’ fun for a change. If you’re asking for specifics I’m thinking Heartseeker Marksman.

I will try the tornado werebear build, what do you think? is decent ?

Looks kinda meh. But if this is something you could enjoy playing then go for it. There’s nothing more frustrating to play something for a long time that bores you to death.
