Damn. Bought the game after work and am having the same issue with the same screen. I don’t even think I have a player log yet. Playing stand alone version
edit: I tried uninstalling and re-installing but that didn’t help. However, I did find my log files.

This also happened to me after I had to reinstall due to a system failure. Going to reinstall again and see if it resolves because it worked fine yesterday. Mine is a standalone version.

Do you have an update on what is going on with this? People I play POE with are saying they are not having an issue logging in while it seems like I’m not being connected to a server. Idk if it’s because I just bought the game today and did a new install of the game or it’s just having issues routing my ip but slightly bummed I can’t get in to experience the game.
To all wondering one of the devs in the Discord stated they are working on a fix and will let us know when it is done.

Hi everyone! We’ve released 0.8.2b to attempt to fix this issue. I’m confident that this will fix login for anyone who had a login button but the animation never stopped.
If there are problems that persist we will continue our investigations as quickly as possible.

Ok the problem still exists, there is plainly no way to enter login information and no little portal picture or anything it is completely empty. I cannot seem to upload a screen shot because there is not a format I can use here.

I know it’s not super helpful but my brother is trying to log in and try the game for the first time with me and he’s getting the same issue still 
From what I have gathered between reading through here and their discord this has to be an issue with people doing fresh installs of the games. If you had it already installed then there usually isn’t this issue.
Did you both try to log in on the same computer?
Not the case for me, I just updated via steam. But the issue persisted even when did a fresh standalone install. The impression of it being fresh installs might just be because a lot of new players came in recently.
Separate computers- he’s at his house. I’ll try to do so

I have a fix for the login screen being blank and I’ll be putting out an additional hotfix as soon as I can.
I’ve definitely confirmed that this fixes the problem for Standalone users as I was able to reproduce the problem locally, and this new fix resolved it. It seems likely that it will work for Steam as well but I haven’t directly confirmed that.
0.8.2c is out now-- please download it and let us know if it resolves the problem for you! Again, thanks for your patience.
