RNG is a thin you know? 3 Exsangs in 1k playtime (already downgraded and distracted 200h afk and sort time to be clear ^^). Other people have 10 times the ammount of exsangs in a fraction of the time. Last time I checked I did nothing that wrong and facerolled content up to emp monos.
Luck is something that happens to other people ^^.
If it takes someone 2k hours to get a bastion then skill is playing more of a factor than rng. Sorry your bad i guess.
Thereâs no âskillâ in div cards. Thereâs not even âskillâ in juicing maps â itâs random, you click until the %'s at the top are big. Thereâs no âskillâ in what rng determines a monster drops when it dies.
Thereâs skill in creating a build (not simply following a guide). Thereâs skill in driving your character. But neither of those things determine your luck from rng when you pull the slot machine lever. Simply dumping more time into something, or doing it faster doesnât equate to âskillâ in the rng itself.
Also, I dont think getting an rng Bastion drop is the same as playing the trade market in PoE, but it you want to move the goalposts there, go ahead and talk to yourself about it, to your heartâs content.
And further, running a monolith that specifically says âShield and XYZ dropsâ, or an echo that tells you it will drop a unique item is âskillâ. Itâs still rng, youâre just pulling the rng lever one extra time. But itâs still rng. Thereâs no mechanic in the game that says âKill T4 Julra without taking any damage, and you get a Bastion dropâ. At least as far as I knowâŚ
Yup, its the problem with uber uniques in d4, its the problem with lp in last epoch. Any item that falls into those levels of drop rate is just doing a negative to the game in the long run, its why blizzards adding a target farm way for the uber uniques with next season; cus they do actually change their core design ideas when the public tell them they suck.
Yeah, its 50/50 no matter what. The item either drops or it doesnât.
I guess we agree to disagree but
You mention poe mirror drop first. I never mentioned trade and/or economy.
Imo knowledge = skill in an hns
While all of you are writing long essays as to why you either want or do not want new content creators joining LE, the dude is a Diablo stud who just doubled the number of players in Last Epoch in a matter of a few days since his video. I say we keep him

More players means game gets more $ and we get more content.
I am not angry, you can label someone a bottomfeeder easily without emotion
The reason why I think this is most of these people just follow whatever is popular right now and soon as it isnt drawing in the âviewsâ they dump it without a second thought but I will continue. Regarding this Rax, I think their plan is to pump out LE videos on release so therefor learning the game now. Theres no big content creator for LE but im assuming they will just take the mantle. I can already see the guides now âHow to increase your Stash!â with a pic of them smiling and pointing, basically its a financial tactic to play the game now.
Next up streamers set unrealistic expectations of what a player actually is. All events get based around streamers because apparently everyone can play all day everyday Monday-Friday as everyone streams
They get privileges like Early Access, get to skip login queues. They taunt people with âyeah well I played D4 (prior to release) you guys are going to love itâ but doesnt mention the end game is hyper shit and all these EA streamers had a chance to tell Blizzard but DIDNT, why not hold these people accountable for some of the decisions
They get Free MTX to open on their stream to make it seem you could also get these itemsâŚif you just spent $250 on boxes, Also some streamers in PoE have insane RNG to the point people actually say âstreamer clientâ
Game companies design promotions around the streamer. âSub to this idiot during this period and get exclusive MTXâ or âWatch this idiot for 4 hours to get exclusive MTXâ
SoâŚyou can see a problem with this if you are an âaverageâ player who even wants to not read and avoid this shit but wants their free MTX you are forced to go to Twitch, then you go to your games reddit and you see âXX Streamers godlike RNGâ where they just got another 0000000.1% event happen recorded on stream
I remember when I first heard about twitch I assumed it was for gaming freaks to show of their powers and at first it was now its just a joke, the success of Quin69 is evident of this you can just be an complete tool misogynistic idiot with an absolute disgusting viewer base and still make millions a year while screaming at the game

There is a term for people who take popular positions or go after popular subject matter regardless of what it is on Youtube; itâs called a âbread tuber.â Theyâre not a person who has skills, insights, principles, substance of any kind. Theyâre just trying to make their bread (bucks).
As far as I understand, the term âBreadTubeâ was tied to Kropotkinâs âThe Conquest of Bread/The Bread Bookâ, often referenced to through the comical question âWhat does this have to do with the price of bread?â, which questions the relevance of something as it pertains to peopleâs less abstract and more practical, immediate needs.
âBreadTubeâ is more of a left-leaning YouTube space, with a wide range of voices from socialist/communist/anarchist perspectives, and it has nothing to do with âYouTubers trying to make breadâ.
Yeah. I donât know where you got the âBreadTube = MoneyTubeâ from.
Thatâs an interesting position to take. How do you know what feedback they did, or didnât, give to Blizzard. Or, how much of the end-game was actually available to them â Blizzard doesnât allow their WoW beta testers to see the Mythic Raids, prior to patch going live, so itâs entirely possible that some of the more end-game, end-game content was kept from the streamers as well. Also, Blizzard is notorious for ignoring feedback during their beta test stages, which has been a point of contention with their player base for years.
I just find it a bit odd that you would hold this kind of grudge against people, when you have absolutely no clue about the specifics of the situation. Given the amount of time someone like Raxx, or Wudijo, put into D3âŚalong with the feedback they gave Blizzard on it⌠I doubt they wouldnât have said something about D4 during their EA, given how quickly they dumped it after release.
A lot of people share this kind of information while they do their tinfoil hat origami classes. Let those people talk because of the end of the day you wonât see any proof for what they make up.
Whatâs odd about it? Where Iâm from we have a whole bunch of different names for people that are so⌠creative they make statements about stuff they have no informations and clue about.
This is nothing new and used a lot in all kind of topics.
Itâs a nice way of saying âWhat the actual fuck are you on about?!?!?!?â
Ahh now I get it in germany we say âAre you drunk?â to ask if someone is full of shit.
The sooner people realise these streamers will tell you anything you want to hear if it makes them a quick buck, the better all round i say, and if you are stupid enough to feed that, then more fool you.
There are some LE streamers, who used to be very wholesome streamers, now because they have had a little bit success, the wholesome nature changes with it.
I honestly couldnt give a rats arse who is enjoying the game, it has no baring on my enjoying or not enjoying the game.
What i will say is, i am not enjoying the game, because performance is pure dogshit, servers are terrible for EU west, its not my PC or my net connection. Its the dodgy servers.
If noone else enjoys the game you canât enjoy the game because a game canât life with one player.
I think @Llama8 (or someone else, I cant be arsed to check) said something about how is listening to a streamer different to listening to anyone else recommend a game (or anything)? In the end, itâs deciding to try something, based off someone elseâs recommendation â be it a magazine article, youtube video, streamer, or just some dude you were chatting with at the store. Not many people just blindly try games anymore because the costs are usually prohibitive.
Nah, no game dev would ever do that for a streamer & his friends, not even if said devs were upside down due to some freakish non-flat earth âphysicsââŚ
But also, whoâs Raxx? Iâve heard of Wudijo at least.
Grats. I enjoy it too.
Raxx is good, but I lost interest recently. A comment he made within the last couple of weeks saying that no one can never be good at ARPGs unless you setup your key/mouse binds his way is just a level of arrogance that makes me puke. And it wasnât said jokingly. I was waiting for the âno, just kidding guysâ, but nope. It was a dead serious comment. I canât take him seriously anymore.
And to suggest that thereâs a major problem with the way key binds currently function in LE, just because he canât do things exactly how he wants, is utter non-sense. Iâve been playing LE since beta started. Never once have I ever had a problem with movement, or interacting with NPCs, and objects using default key settings.
I get everyone has their own way of doing things, and thatâs great. If you have a suggestion for how to make things better, raise it up the flag pole and see if the devs agree. But donât turn it into some horrible problem that just has to be resolved, else no one will ever be good at LE.
AnywayâŚgreat game.
GGG did that one league start. I donât doubt they and other developers do it as well. Why wouldnât they?
I said in a diferent post: If you have feedback from people who played hundrets of thousands of hours of H&S games and you donât think about their feedback youâd be a fool of a dev. Noone said the allmighty streamers know it best because that would be an equaly stupid thing to say as streamers area plague and are bad for gaming.
People just need to start to think for themselfs instead of listining to meaningless mainstream shit that is bad. There are content creators out there who are fun and know what they talk about and teach people some things from time to time. Then there are Fâd up content creators who are good for nothing. At the end of the day itâs up to the people to descide what they watch or not ^^.
