Raxx Seems to Enjoy "Last Epoch"

Yeah but maxroll all togheter have very good content creators in their teams. There are some funny coincidences of Raxx saying XYZ isn’t that good about a game and some days/weeks late there is change. That guy plays hack and slays for years and years and thousands of hours and I never seen him gave bad, like real bad, advice once. He’s to easy to hype thou ^^.

Ravenous void and the red ring have been found multiples times. And you can target farm them. Unlike the uber uniques in D4

Yeah, that was kind of the point I was getting at (not so much including Maxroll in the discussion, although they seem to be quality as well). Raxx doesn’t seem like the typical “yes-man” streamer, saying whatever he needs to in order to get sponsors. He genuinely seems to care about the games he plays, and gives honest feedback on them, wanting them to improve and have longevity.

Yeah, if they actually liked the things they said they liked, and not just saying how awesome something is (when it’s not), just to get that sponsorship. There are many woodworking Youtube channels out there giving dishonest reviews on tools, just so they can stay on the gravy train…this is bad, because it places distrust in all the channels, even the ‘honest’ ones.

Anyone who listens to other people when it comes to taste is stupid like a brick. I for example hate Starfield and even when I rushed the game in 4h so I can refund the whole game pass I still feel dirty for playing that piece of shit game Bethesda overhyped completely. I’d never blame anyone but me for jumping on Starfield asap and wasting my time with it.

On the other hand I think alike some streamers and take a closer look if certain streamers think something is intresting. Then again I still do my homework on it and if I like it or not.

Sadly a lot of people would even ate a poop sandwich as long as it is from streamer xyz. Even worse they don’t identify themselfs as the problem but went on a guilt trip and tell everyone is guilty of their problems but themselfs.

The internet is a sad funny place full of smart idiots.

oh wow, someone has found them? And I can target farm them?
So how long do i need to farm to get those? Or a Bastion of Honour? They should also have at least 2 LP and I’ll probably need several of them to get the right stats on them, right?

ravenous void and red rings arent uber uniques is the thing (the game doesnt have uber uniques). I thought your initial point was about lp, not sure if it still is or not. But 2lp isn’t equivalent to uber uniques, 2lp is actually doable. The problem with diablo uber uniques is they are aspirational, realistically unobtainable items. The equivalent in LE is stuff like 4lp wings, or 4lp red ring etc… Those items exist only as an aspirational ‘well it could exist’ and to laugh at offline players who edit them in.

Also bastion isn’t the gg shield anymore, especially adding in lp. Most builds wanting a shield have a better shield to farm when taking lp into account.

I have enjoyed some of Raxx’s content here and there along with several of his builds over the years in D3. I’m kind of on the fence though whether the endorsement of a spreadsheet warrior that is always looking for the absolute shortest path to and through endgame, no matter how much repetition, is actually good.

And Smongold enjoyed Raxx video and will cover LE most likely as well. That’ll be funny because a lot of people hate Asmongold religiously  .

my point was that there are plenty of items in LE that are just as rare as uber uniques and that (theoretically easier to find) items are venturing into that realm because of RNG with LP and crafting.
You can already spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours farming without getting a Bastion at all, and these numbers multiply even higher if you want some LP, then get the right crafting results etc.

And I’m sure D4’s uber uniques have been found multiple times (over the community) as well, just like LE’s & PoE’s rarest drops.

Why? I’m assuming that you know that other’s taste might not match yours so if someone says they like a thing that you’re not sure about you don’t just allow them to dominate you & overwrite your concerns?

The name may be different but the concept is the same. And, doable for who? In how much time?

Someone trys to convince me that sour kidneys taste awesome. I tried them once and almost puked. Someones taste makes sour kidneys maybe the best thing in the world but for my taste sour kidneys are a crime. That’s why it’s stupid to listen to listen to other people. If I dislike something I dislike it and don’t change my mind just because a ton of other people like it. Same goes for fun or comfy cloths or games or whatever.
There are exeptions to the rule and sometimes I ask people about their oppinion or i listen to people who think likewise but in the end it all comes down to me and only me. Another reason why I live alone by choice F compromises :D.

And yet D4 understood the need to make uber uniques target farmable with even more chances in S2. I still can say I only found 3 Exangs in 1k playtime while others found 30, it’s just gambling nothing more nothing less. You take the gamble if something drops and the currency you use for your bet is lifetime. To some lifetime>then drops with a 0.000whatever% drop chance in billions of hours of playtime until the first shaco droped in D4 or a Gradnfather. I think the games miss a good middleground between the need to grind and time invested just to make up for the lack content. Yes farming stuff is a big part of aprg’s I know still I think cost vs benefit is meh in some games.

I get you like to be pedantic, but just google for 5 seconds the drop rates on d4’s uber uniques lol, these arent items you can get in a thousand hours of farming or something, let alone a couple of hundred like red ring or rav void lol.

You dont need to comment on everything, sometimes when you dont know something you can just pass on by.

I feel like this argument is just ‘you have a 50% chance to get an item or not, so the difference in drop rates don’t mean anything, because you get it or you don’t.’

Bastion drop rate compared to uber uniques in diablo, is like comparing getting a blue item with an ox shard on it, to getting a normal unique.

Mh, no, more like: “Doesn’t matter if it’s 2k or 200k hours, both is unobtainable (for me)”

i used to target farm bastions in weekend tournaments. This is a skill dif tbh lol, 2k hours means your doing something wrong

haha, skill issue, of course, sure…

There’s skill in rng? That’s an interesting take…

I guess all those people who got a Mirror on their first PoE drop are fucking uber expert gamers! The Top Gun .000000001% of the top .0000000001%!!!

No but you can juice certains maps with specifics mods (that’s where the knowledge/skill part comes into play imo) to get div cards for mirror or shards. That why certain people (like me) end up the league with 1 divine, and other with multiple mirrors. They know what to do and invest the time to do it. Getting a bastion sure is Rng, and Rng is Rng. But you can reduce it by getting the right blessings and target farming efficiently the right mono.

Edit: And the comparison with d4 is poorly choosen because d4 barely giving any ways to mitigate the rng, unlike LE. I am not saying LE is perfect but in that way it’s certainly better than d4.

There is skill & knowledge involved in playing the system right.
Doing everything you can do make the game system play in your favor gives you magnitudes higher chances of getting specific things. And also makes the farming process more time effecient. (More chance/time)

There are plenty of factors that you have control over as a player that will swing the RNG in your favor.
Yes its still RNG, but with enough time spent msot of the RNG can be offset for most of the “realisticly obtainable items”.

I would count all items in LE “realisticly obtainable items” within a 50 hour timeframe except Ravenous Void, Red Ring of Atlaria & Orian’s Eye
