I would buy whatever expansion at nearly any price tag. Game is truly one-of-a-kind and you guys are simply the best.

Maybe focus more on MG and donāt ignore 1/2 of player base , never mind that playerbase is gone by now.
Player wonāt support a bad game and from MG perspective LE fail so hard. Easy explanation on
why your business model isnāt profitable.

You want my honest opinion on this? here it is. (Hot take.)
Go the team cherry route pricing-wise.
- in the long run, the base cost of Last Epoch (In $USD estimates) should be about $20 USD, just the base game, the other two versions can remain as is for those who want to truly support the game outside of supporter packs.
- This would open up the game to more people worldwide on the basic level if the currency exchange rate properly reflects the $20 USD value according to conversion rates, & allowing more people to access the game for cheaper, resulting in more buyers. Compared to other games that are far too overpriced in todays global gaming market, resulting in less player retention on initial release & over the games lifespan.
- & if they feel like they are actually getting their moneys worth & see value in itās support, they will come. people will genuinely want to support the game even more if they are actually having fun on top of other factors leading them to such a financial decision, flaws and all.
As for the Upcoming Orobyss expansion:
- if it has to be priced, make that about $20 USD also, just for the base expansion on its own, same as the base game depending on the meat of that particular bone, because coming up with supporter packs on top of that is pretty much something that does work regardless, as it is, in my opinion, a players way of presently supporting EHG & their current parent company Krafton, complete with additional cosmetics & the usual bells & whistles that come with it for those who go the extra mile at their own volition.
and this is just my own personal experience as a traveler (yes I bought last epoch back in june of 2024 and still enjoy it to this day at times.) I honestly do not know of any other game that lets a player transform into a bipedal killing machine that is the mighty druid werebear which has to be the most favorite part of the game for me, let alone permanently via the enchanted idol affix granting armor & rage gained per second while transformed. & another part that got me a really good laugh, using the werebears attacks to scatter imperial skeletons like they were confetti, listening to their bones rattle as I scattered them to the winds with my ābear arms.ā best times imaginable.
It actually scratched a near impossible itch for me that I could not find elsewhere in other games & I will keep Last Epoch close to me for it. I give you my word, I will remain quite optimistic for a time, so long as you & the rest of your team keep as close as possible to the original creative vision that you all ābearā which inspired you to creating such a masterpiece in itās own right.
A lot of travelers came here because they believe in you & the team at EHG, whether it was during & after the Kickstarter, they still support you, even if they are a bit hard on you at times, because at the end of the day, each and every traveler that comes here cares about Last Epoch in their own way, even me.

So you built your business model on mtx, put up so little mtx calling it the bare minimum is being generous, proceeded to ignore all mtx requests and suggestions like actually releasing entire weapon sets of the few themes you did bother to put out. Then because the least effort possible didnāt work youāve decided to sell out for an easy way out instead of actually putting in the work to sustain your business model?

Sell the game, its not unreasonable to expect to pay for an expansion. The world doesnt run on good intentions, and kind words. Iāll still play it.
I donāt even know why people act like that for the possibility of paying an expansion, probably all these people donāt have a job and donāt know how the world work.
Letās be honest:
- Diablo 4 have an entry price, and then a good source of money from the MTX, that are actually good, and from the expansions, that are new content different from a simply season.
- PoE and PoE 2 have a lot of microtransaction related to stash, that are basically mandatory to play the game, and everytime new content come in, with new currency, new stash tab comes out, and that made up for almost all the money they get, with PoE2 they even have a Early Access on payment.
- What have LE? A game that cost around 30$/ā¬, and basically nothing more, the skin and MTX are really bad, just becouse the engine itās self canāt provide better quality from them. An ARPG canāt survive in the long term whitout constant earning, so paied expansion between free season is the only real solution, beeing a game setted more like D4 than PoE2, or you want pay 4/5$ for a single stash as that game?
Obviously the expansion need to be worth the cost, but thatās another story.

Promise after promise has been broken.
I gave you all the patience I had to give. Over and over I have defended this game and the team behind it. Just say it like it is: āWe sold out.ā Iāve never seen anyone pull a Bungie on their community faster than this.
Fare-well, Iām back off to PoE/PoE2, and I hate to say it but at this point even Diablo IV has more draw to it than LE.
You chose quick money over hard work and sacrifice.
And you clearly forgot that those games did not have thousands of microtransactions battlepasses and other things where you can spend your money to support the game

Ever consider you might have more cosmetic sales if you went for a more affordable model rather than the whale model?
Personally, I was going to buy the supporter packs but then I saw how little the currency gets me cosmetic-wise so I basically had to want the armor sets on the supporter packs to make it worth the money. So instead I just bought currency to get a few skill cosmetics and even then I was disappointed with what my money got me.
A whale model only works when you have a bunch of dedicated whales. 5-15 dollars per cosmetic is never going to get me to give you money regularly. I have better things to spend my money on than one or two skins.

Cant be mad at the response honestly. I just wish it came a bit sooner. I am here to stay I just fear those that dont love the game as much as myself might not be here to stay.
I think the least ammount of peoples are mad. Most feel betrayed others maybelike they canāt trust EHG anymore. The trust was already falling short after selling to Krafton but now itās damaged beyond repair for some. Iām just here to see what happens and if someone is able to turn this arround before it wrecks.
