PATCH is coming? we need MASSIVE nerfs and buffs

Well unfortunately in the game more than 3 classes, and there are still specializations, and skils and the next person will ask and I want my skill was as balanced as the other.

They need learn to play like everyone else without bugs and abuse.

Yes, yet majority of the game is balanced, the EXCEPTION must be fixed.

The bugs are the developers’ fault, not the players’.

it’s good to respond only to the part of the post you like, I don’t agree that most of the game is balanced, I see a lot of spells that are absolutely unfit for use in high arenas.

You don’t have to.
You can’t argue with math.

Sentinel top 400
Mage top 460
Primalist top 490
Rogue marksman top 411
Bladedancer 321
Acolyte lich top 400

They are all close to each other besides complexity of skills. This is objectively a good balance for a game of this complexity (not perfect, but decent).

Falconer, Locks and Necro are the only exception broken specs.

I agree that they are broken, I did not deny it. the developers allowed serious bugs that should have been corrected when they were discovered or not at all. I wouldn’t fix it, this lader doesn’t affect anything, almost no one goes to the arena, if you look at the number of places not in the popular classes, you realize how little attendance in the arena in the game. It’s boring, it needs to change.

The issue with launching 2 new classes without testing is that everyone is now switching to those classes, especially because it’s ridiculously easy to stack damage and ward.

What about the differences in masteries? My chakram build is trash compared to the same build in falconer. Builds shouldn’t be so accessible from other masteries, or they should simply allow mastery respec if the balance its that terrible, falconer can play every bladedancer build 100x times better. Same for sorcerer and necromancer, its a waste of time when you have runemaster and warlocks.

@Athamos ^^
That’s what I wrote about balance ideal never achieve in such games, there will always be dissatisfied.

Anyway good luck with your whining, I hope the game passes the test of time and it becomes a good alternative for a break from poe. I’m ending this pointless conversation

Theyre the ones promising this dont go to happen.

People with large Ward pools benefit from endurance too. You don’t need to have low life to have high Ward.

Those are bugs being exploited, not bad design.

OP continually overlooks this fact. Warlock ward generation is BUGGED. It will be fixed.

Stop calling for nerfs when all we need is bug fixes. Especially not nerfs based on something as niche as arena.

I have a Primalist on ~3k HP who is my tankiest char and has zero ward. It’s not what you have, it’s what you do with it…

Because those testers are not obsessively fretting 24/7 about people who are further up a meaningless leaderboard than they are, so their motivation is different from some people in this thread.

Really? You think the game will fail due to an imbalance in a mode that hardly anyone plays? And which drives a leaderboard that almost no one gives a damn about? I somehow do not.

You really don’t understand what you are talking about

This is a logical fallacy. It would only be true if the number of players playing each mastery was the same. I am willing to bet there are a LOT more players playing the two new classes than any of the old classes.

And if there are more players playing a certain class then there are more GOOD players playing them and a lot more better equipped players playing them and thus more players who are capable of pushing further.

No

No, quantity is not quality
you even contradict yourself here

If 10% of all players are good and 90% of all players suck. And 90% of all players play warlock then in a pool of 1000 players…

90 Good players are playing Warlock
10 good players are playing not-Warlock

But a better thought is this…

Why should every mastery be able to complete evenly in a leaderboard?

That’s dumb. If you are a Sorcerer, the only thing that should be meaningful to you is how you do compared to other Sorcerers. Comparing yourself to Warlocks is silly. You are not a Warlock. It’s why sports have divisions based on sex, age, disability, even nationality. Not everyone is created equal.

Imagine a 12 year old playing in their school tennis league complaining that Novak Djokovic should have a foot cut off so if they ever played it would be balanced. That to me is a Sorcerer complaining that Warlocks need nerfed.

Trying to enforce total class balance is not only impossible but counter-productive to the game as a whole since it stifles all design, and results in nerfs coming for imbalances that 99% of the players do not care about.

Thats not true, but lets consider your premise, if 90% are playing warlock it means 10% are not playing warlock, those 10% good players are at 400 wave in a non-warlock spec regardless.

Its already happening, warlock and falconer cancer are the exceptions to that.
Majority is competing fairly, evenly. We got a good example about top sentinel being 400 and top lich being 400… literally the same.

So how is it that I can get a lot further than 400 with many of those classes?

optimizing your own gear, playing better, climbing little by little, without huge spikes through bugs and abuse

So all those non-Warlocks and non-Falconers are slackers?
