PATCH is coming? we need MASSIVE nerfs and buffs

There are some serious bugs that need addressed and they are all minion related for Acolytes and Rogues. Once they are addressed, damage and ward should look more reasonable.

The only thing that will look OP from there will probably be 4 man teams synergizing their buffs to the moon.

That is more a problem with the other defensive options being terribleā€¦not ward being op.

RuneMage currently has solo 1800corruption clears. Itā€™s closer to Acolyte and Rogue than the others.

Search in this topic for ā€œbackhanded nerfā€.

I guess people would get annoyed if I were to write this every time for everyone who has the brilliant idea of lifting everything else to the same level of insanity - without considering the consequences.

Ehh it extends to MONO too not just arena. Also they donā€™t care because 50% of the population is either a Warlock or Falconer, with the remaining probably a RuneMage, Necro, or Paladin. All 5 of which are bonkers OP.

Where in the world are you getting this?

Iā€™m getting solo runemaster boards here

You canā€™t just make stuff up. Also #20 is wave 244, just throwing that out there. #1 and #2 are 460 and 420, not 1800.

What if before doing that they started fixing game breaking bug? Seem more important.

Jk some bug from 3 years ago are still there thats not happening.

Warlock and Falconer are new, so their bugs are quite new. Minion bugs all around.

Sadly im not thinking about them, but hey maybe if this game stack enough bug something funny is going to happen.

No, warlocks are not op, just because people are using exploits to stack ignite does not mean warlock is op. Do a warlock play through like I am without using bugs, different story.

I think itā€™s reasonable to fix an overwhelming oversight where the game was never balanced around. This is not a buff or nerf issue for this one specific issue. People who are defending this are out of their minds. Note, itā€™s nerfing an unintended sequence of skill usage that was probably never intended for. Reasonable to fix that.

As for falconer, thatā€™s more debatable. I lean more towards letting it slide and fixing it for next season, which means some type of nerf.

I think the classes to balance around are paladin, druids, and blade dancers. Reasonably fun to play, diverse builds, and not overwhelmingly overpowered. There should always be a standard. Warlock and falconer right now is not a standard, theyā€™re broken. But forge guards and its ilk are broken, just in the opposite direction.

IF this is their stance then they do things wrong from my point of view. Rather nerf broken/buged Stuff and reset the leaderboard according to the patch because itā€™s already a complete mess because the broken buld and bugs are there to begin with. I donā€™t want D4 again when the devs arenā€™t even trying anymore to make a blanced game because some people backlash at them and they stick to broken crap.

If there will be nerfs, 75% of warlocks and falconers will simply leave the game, with a negative impression of the company that makes adjustments to the balance of the season. And many of them will not ever return. Meanwhile, a bunch of resentful primalists will be happy that others are nerfed. Is it worth it? Itā€™s up to the developers. There are a billion more important bugs to fix. And also something to solve with trading systems. In general, of course, someone rushed the release, the game is too raw, and there is no content.

You called?

So did PoE 1.0. Itā€™s, sadly, normal now.

Itā€™s a bit of both. Ward is a good defensive mechanic when you can generate it when you need it, the other options arenā€™t as good & some builds can generate way too much.

I almost think that D4ā€™s fortify mechanic wouldnā€™t be too bad for melee builds in LE.

You are missing everything, just follow simple logic;

Ladder PREMISE is competition.
If class A is overperforming 10x times better than class B, competition integrity is compromised.

Is that suposed to be that hard to understand?

:joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:
If locks and falcs canā€™t overperform by a large margin they will quit??? :joy: :joy: :joy:

They will leave because they invested for 2 weeks, pumped, etc., and then one thing and a nerf. they have already left in the gap, they are already used to a certain pace of play. Iā€™ve seen in games nerfs in the middle of the league. there was more whining than requests to nerf + a wave of negativity in steam. I donā€™t understand why it bothers you so much that someone is playing at a higher level of the game, is your game worse because of it? Are you jealous?

3 specs are about 400 waves, if falconer gets nerfed from 600 waves to 450 they will quit the game because they invested?

sentinel, primalist and mages are no investing in the game? just falconers and lock?

In games like this, where there are a lot of classes and skills, there will never be a perfect balance, there will always be classes that are better and that are worse. Moreover, the ladder here is only for the arena, which goes to 5% of players from force, as it is the most boring activity.

Thats a fallacy. We got a decent balance between sentinel, primalist and mages.

Not all of course, but yes they will, because the progression will stop, and it will be impossible to beat your own record, no matter what you do. And they will not reset the ladder for sure.
