Yup currently just not playing the game because all my AF progress got wiped on a HC death. Server / network issues at launch is understandable but this is just… oof. Do we need to do anything to report our stash wipe? I’d very much like it to get rolled back if that ends up being possible…

This is my exact situation as well. I made a SAF character at launch but quickly deleted it and made made a SCF character with the same name and been playing on it since. The bug must be connected to player names and their ID:s (if those exist) and there must have been some sort of mismatch with the update.

Similarly affected. Lost about 10 tabs worth of stuff and am not playing unless it’s possible to restore them.

You might be on to something because this is the same situation as me.
20 tabs, rank 7 with my faction all gone. Hope they can just reset my SC state to pre-patch.

Just died in HC and lost my SC stash as well.
Any update? Wanna play the game but not going to if all my 70 hours progress is lost
I thought they released the patch to stop this? 
They just updated and confirmed they had fixed it, so if it’s still happening to anyone today they definitely need to let them know pronto.

If it’s true the bug is indeed not fixed.
Also what concerns me is they keep communicating as it is an HC issue and it’s not. A lot of us lost everything in other modes as well. I didn’t play since the patch because i was waiting for my stash to come back not to mention i’m afraid it happens again. I don’t care much about server issues on launch but losing dozens of hours of character progress like this is an other story…

Yes you lost everything in SC mode when you died in HC mode.

No as i said I’ve never played a HC character and reading the topic, discord, and other people i know for a fact never did and lost everything as well. It’s not related to HC. It sounds more like it’s related to any non-softcore character.
Theres been two things happening since the patch, the hc death one got hte most notice initially, and was all teh devs talked about. But during that a few people brought up situations that were different, as far as I can gather these have all been left unadressed.
So far it seems like the common situation is using the same character name, hopefully a devs looked into this, seen theseposts, paid any attention to it. And hopefully its also fixed now as part of the fixees for the hc issue.
However there being no mention of this from the devs, even if its just ‘this isnt an issue anymore’, isn’t great. In part because people dont take it seriously and just assume any stash wipe is down to one issue, and in other part because no mention of it from the devs means as far as we can know/assume, the game currently still has a massive issue with stashes being wiped. (It being a full stash getting wiped means that a sole person getting it, makes it a massive issue.)

Huh, didn’t know this was a bug. Had this issue occur to me live on stream about 7 hours ago. Like others, lost all my shards, faction favour, and stash. Not sure how I get in contact with someone to see if it can be restored, but I suppose posting here is a first step.
7 hours ago during your game or was it the first time you started it after the patch ? If it happened on live 7 hours ago then i guess the issue is still not fixed.
Well I just died in Offline Softcore, lost everything as well.
It was the first time I died, and first time playing the game after the last update.
Never played Hardcore.
When I died, got no respawn, just back to the main menu and character select.
To contribute to the topic and help you guys understand this bug I would like to add that yesterday during some hours that I was starting a new char on softcore and tried rushing content I died a LOT, and during 2 hours all my deaths were like this - no respawn, just a dc. I did not lose anything but while searching for what was happening to me I found this topic.
I was impacted and noticed this last night. I played a little more on that toon that died. I hope this doesn’t make me lose all those uniques I had saved on normal.
