[Last Epoch Tools] Build Planner

I apologize for my mistake. Thanks for checking it out.

Hello, anyone else feeling the website is slowish/laggy on Chrome? Iā€™m not sure what is going since a few versions, but under Edge i have no issues, whereas Chrome feels slow.
If i have the website open while playing my FPS goes down the drain.

I just wanted to thank you for the loot filter, It is an immense time save for lazy people like me.

I donā€™t know how much work you want to to put in it, but I have some new feature suggestions, if you donā€™t mind me saying:

  • Making different rulesets toggleable, to make room for other rules (like the one suggested above by kotrenn). I start using build specific rules mostly much later, so I dont really need the early or mid game rulesets. If there where any new rules/features implemented, one can just choose accordingly which combinations to use and donā€™t exceed the limit.

  • Being able to modify the rules themselves. For example, instead of 3 affixes of t8+, I would rather have a 2 affixes of t5+ rule and maybe a 3 affixes without a total rule etc.

  • Another filter strictness which only shows endgame bases, which would function like a semi-strict filter.

  • (Maybe a little strecth but) making strictness and other toggleable features item slot specific. So I can add resist affixes only to rings or have my weapon and shield strict and everything else regular.

Thanks again for your hard work!

Hello, i noticed huge CPU load when i open Skill page, only in Chrome. tested also in Opera and Firefox, no sudden spikes there. but in Chrome just opening skill page, spikes to 80-90% CPU load. my CPU is Ryzen 5 2600x. Tried to turn off browser extantions, no effect.

Hey thereā€¦ try enabling hardware acceleration in Chromeā€¦ this should then use your GPU for the graphical processing and should reduce the load on your CPUā€¦

that did help, yes. thank you.

Weā€™ve already discussed this in discord, and I personally donā€™t have any suggestions. 1-2 second spike in CPU load when opening passives/skills trees for the first time is expected, because thereā€™s a lot of rendering performed at that moment, but CPU load should return back to 0-5% after that depending on your setup. Did you try in another browser? Do you have HW acceleration turned on?

Thanks for the feedback! I donā€™t wanna overcomplicate loot filter setup, but some suggestions sound viable, Iā€™ll consider implementing some of them.

No need to apologize. The issue with node highlighting during search is fixed.

Thank you again so much for your time!

Will there ever be the option to add/reduce more than one point at a time? Could be really useful in planning builds.

Just posting to tell Dammitt THANK YOU! This kicks ass!

Using the loot filters it generates stand-alone isnā€™t a good idea, but itā€™s a damn good way to start a loot filter!

Itā€™s there since day 1.

This works both in skill trees and in passives.

Wow, I read up to Left click on node adds 1 point, right click removes 1 point. Iā€™m a horrid skim reader. Really caught me slacking there. Sorry man and thanks again for all your time and support.

Hey Dammitt GREAT WORK as always!
I was wondering if it would be possible to add or remove affixes from the filters before generating them; doing it in game is a chore since you have to do it for each tier and the affixes are not filtered by item type and subtype.

Thanks for the suggestion. I might consider adding extra options to filter setup in future, currently Iā€™m only gathering feedback.

Is there any fix for the CPU going crazy when opening the Skills/Passives menu?
Hardware acceleration is enabled already, but I still canā€™t have either of those menus open without my CPU going to (and staying at) 100% load.
It works in Firefox by the way, but since Iā€™m usually using Chrome it would be nice if it worked there as well
Willing to try stuff in case anyone has any suggestions!

Currently I donā€™t have any other advice, sorry. If cpu goes bonkers, this usually means that rendering is performed via cpu, not gpu, so itā€™s odd that despite enabled hw acceleration you still get 100% cpu load. During this year Iā€™ve heard like 3-5 complaints regarding this, meaning that probably only a very tiny percent of users experience this issue.
If it works in firefox for you, you can open planner in firefox for now, until this issue is somehow resolved in the future.
