Hybrid health and increased health is hard to get but flat health is very common. Just slap flat health on like 3-4 pieces of gear and you will be surprised at how much you gain.

I assume you need at least some ranged. Skeleton mages? Falcons easily kill him. Just need to dodge his attacks.

Yeah you can kind of cheese those phases. Left and right side, by the steps. If you stand on steps against tentacle blocking the stairs, then the beam pass over you, as well as slams. You just need to run out when the moonbeam is coming.

I am marskman rogue or whatever. I know the pet one is OP and most use that but I am not hard core and am just playing to have fun so I like marksman.

ARPG stands for Action RPG. In Action, you usually need to react fast.
Also, ARPGs are about solving problems. Problems with gear, build, etc. If you do not like that, you are not willing to farm for better gear or change/improve your build, I think ARPGs are not for you.
If anything, Last Epoch is a fairly easy ARPG, and building a strong character that destroys content is fairly easy.
I want to do campaign in my native language and play sluggish necro only minions build and my journey end at Lagon:)

git gud. learn the mechanics… if proper defence. the only attack that can kill you will be the cold breath. otherwise other dmg can be health leech or pots.
just do monoliths and level up
Dude… just hide at the stairways wait for him shoot his sweeping laser, go up hit him a few times and run back down. Repeat

Well yes and no. If you are dying to his eye or moon beam then no amount of grind or gear will help you. You have to avoid those every time, no matter your build or gear (yes, nitpick I am aware there are a few builds that can legit facetank those without exploits, but that is very very rare and very very endgame builds and gear). Most builds will be one-shot by those attacks no matter what.
Gear will help you not die to the lightning or the waves or the adds, but that’s it.
fix your build tho today i’m levelling my 2nd toon took me 3 hrs to reach lagon and killed on first fight, actually its not chaotic at all there is too much time to dodge stuff you dont even need to rely on your gear can be done 0 hit taken almost. If you are dying that much just get more health-ward or change around the build. Or leave the game idk its not that hard.
