Game Crashing in The Shattered Valley

I’m consistently crashing in the Shattered Valley area with my online character. I did find in the player.log that there’s a texture staging issue.

I’m running on an Alienware x17 R2 with an Intel i9-12900HK CPU, with 64GB DDR5 RAM, Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU

I double checked and I’m running the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.

I tried searching the forums and the only thing I was able to find was the Big Performance Issues after about 70 minutes post. I tried updating the GPU settings to limit the shader cache to 100 GB, but that didn’t fix the crashing issue. I’m not experiencing the FPS stuttering or the audio issues that are mentioned in that post. The game just freezes and then I have to have windows force close the game.

I did a reboot of my laptop and attempted again, but also at the island with the rift portal, I went up instead of to the right. I was able to get through the area without crashing. Then after getting another waypoint unlocked in an area further into the campaign, I attempted to go back to the Shattered Valley to test going to the right from the rift portal and the game crashed when going over the bridge onto the island with the rift portal. This time a crash was detected by the crash report handler and a crash report was generated.

I was able to make it past this area and able to continue. I’m assuming the crash report was sent to EHG the next time I started the game, so below is the player.log from the crash.
