  • A Tier - Empowered Abomination > 10 Seconds < 30 Seconds (once Soul Cages are destroyed)

  • D Tier - Very Slow
  • F Tier - Painfully Slow

  • S Tier - 300+ Waves
  • A Tier - 225-299 Waves
  • B Tier - 150-224 Waves
  • C Tier - 100-149 Waves
  • D Tier - 80-99 Waves
  • F Tier - Less Than 79 Waves

Does anybody know what’s the drop rate on the Maw? I’ve been farming it for a while and only the ring was dropping. I’m literally wearing 10 rings on both hands already.

Came here to ask the same thing. Been farming in lvl65+ echoes (as it is the minimum level for it to be able to drop if I understood correctly) and only the ring drops. Anyone had more luck in non empowered echos?

I read on another post that it can’t drop on normal monoliths. So it would be empowered only, but I could not find a confirmation.

Ive heard its empowered only but cant officially confirm. I got it on empowered

I think the axe is an empowered drop where the ring and boots are from normal monoliths.

I was wondering if it was bound to empowered or to specific empowered timelines. For example, only Black Sun empowered. :wink:

Should now finally be true, my scribble was ridiculous.

EDIT:
To rely almost exclusively on DOOM as a damage source seems quite inefficient to me. The maximum 4 DOOM stacks are reached quickly and can be held well with only one ring (or this axe).

Llama8 is right, of course. Since the Shade of Orobyss is not a timeline boss, so it is at home in EVERY timeline, you can get its items in EVERY timeline.

Tempest Maw - Unique Crescent Axe - One-Handed Axe - Last Epoch Item Database is then quite clearly in EVERY empowered timeline to get from him.
