Character screen on linux doesn't look right

i get a vaguely purple outline with no details.
This on the linux client. doesn’t depend on which character, and the create new character screen looks about the same.

Having the same issue.
Tried Steam’s “verifying integrity” but it didn’t make a difference.

EHG is aware of this issue, as reported in the previous thread about this issue. I’m also affected.
