Summary

- This builds is based around Primalist that specalizes into Druid mastery and then transforms into a Werebear! As we level we work towards getting 100% Crit Chance so we can have 100% Uptime in werebear form, stacking armor for massive defense, and adding in lots of added physical damage + Critical Multiplier so we can hit like a truck!

  • Leveling 9/10 (Only a few deaths, Super Tanky once you get 50%+ Armor)

This one was specifical designed to be good for this patch and not be entangled with EQ. I dont see anything in patch notes that would have made it not work.

How do you get 100% crit w/o the old axe base? There’s no crit base axe in the game anymore.

Oh yes that would change it alot! You will have to put melee crit chance prefix on now. Perhaps even just use a 2 hand with melee crit on it. WIll have to dig into it

Is this build very rough to start or am I doing something wrong? I am only level 20 but it feels extremely weak on damage and I am dying fairly often.

it shouldnt be to bad. The damage is kinda low until you geting into werebear form. We did that on stream and only died a few times the whole way. Maybe need more void resistance early in the game?

I think that was likely what was getting me looking back. Definitely feel like a god now at level 40.

Would using a dagger in the mainhand help? Or is the base damage more important? Seems like crit is great for sustaining bear form but not necessary for solid damage output (non crits still doing tons of damage with a mace mh and axe oh)

Sorry if I am just missing something, but I am fairly new to the game and this is my first character. I am at level 55 and I just do not understand where your mana-regen is coming from. It looks like something is giving you some mana back while meleeing, but I just cant see what it is in the passives or skills. What am I missing? This is a fun build but going back into human form is for sure a low point till it refreshes.

it’s the swipe crit on the werebear skill node. swipe crits then it returns the man.

Is that all of it? That causes “less” mana to be used, but mana is still going to be used when you charge or use any other skill. In the video you can see his mana actually go back up, leading to constant bear form. It looks like 2-3 mana increases from somewhere

The only thing giving mana is critical strikes. Once you get the cost down to 2 it still refunds 3. WHen you see my mana jump up by 3,4,5,6 mana its because im hitting multiple enemies when that happens.

Attunment = mana efficency on Druid. With 20 or 24 Attunment swipe only costs 2 Mana.

So u could facetank almost all bosses??

Outside of their osk skills sure. Almost every class has ways to do so.

@boardman21 Why no entangeling roots anymore? Trying stuff because they might be not available in 8.4?

Entangling roots now cost its mana cost inside werebear form… 50 mana cost was to much it knocks you out in 2-3 uses

Uhm I can sustain it pretty easiely and it mostly gives mana back so np from my side.
