In your video, on the training dummy, when you hit Death Seal why doesn’t your health drop to 33%?

Is there any reason you’re not using Contagion on Spirit Plague? (SP now cast as an AoE but costs more mana).

This was discussed above, we found it seems to be bugged, if you break the video down frame by frame i do lose the health but i have such a high amount of leech that my health almost or completely feels back up before my helth seems to be sealed. This seems to only happen against training dummy where you have about 6x as much damage(leech)

Struggling a bit with this at the mo. I’m level 46. Currently, when I hit reaper form I am in it for about 2-3 seconds before damage from mobs reduced me back to normal health. I have Wandering Spirits on Auto and start each fight with Plague Spirit, but I simply am not leeching enough health to stay in Reaper. Is this a known “hump” to get over? I’m sure it will improve when I reach Ageless Ascetic, but right now…not great. Am I doing something wrong?

My damage is fine - everything dies pretty fast - but I spend most of my time running away. If I go toe-to-toe in Lich form I drop to red almost immediately. The degen takes me out in seconds without any mobs, of course. My current health is 869 with 18 health regen. Poison is 293%, DoT is 303%, spell damage is 235%, I’m running with Chimera’s essence.

ETA: just noticed Ageless Ascetic is “on hit” leech…so not gonna be that helpful after all. Looking at a grim next 10 levels…

You have drain life? Drain life works amazing early game

Drain Life, Wandering Spirits, Reaper at 16. Spirit Plague at 15.

Damage is fine…health regen…not so much.

I have specc’d DL into Lay Waste (no leech), of course. And Blood Pact (zero mana).

I have also begun to hear voices even when Wandering Spirits isn’t up. I am beginning to wonder if people in my life are out to get me. I have started carrying a very sharp fork around on my person.

May I also query Plague Burst on Spirit Plague? Change to spread when you hit afflicted enemy…but we never do?

Death wave hits. I would also recommend not taking the o cost o leech om drainlife till you have enough leech without it.

@boardman21 OK, so there was definitely some bug in your training room portion of the video because you have death seal active and yet can leech back to full health. Alternatively, is it possible you had not allocated “Deadlock” at that point?

Either way, it looks like you only pop Deathseal when you really need to burn someone down right? Otherwise it seems pretty risky to drop your health to 33% all the time.

Hi, do Healing Effectiveness works with spirits poison hits?

are you asking if healing effectiveness increases the leech? no. only way to increase the amount of damage your leeching is with leech increases.

Or with increased leech rate such as from Woven Flesh & the “Siphoning” prefix (increased health leech as well as leech on hit). I would also add increased health leech but that’s only on a nod for Anomaly which this characterwouldn’t be able to benefit from.

I have a general question regarding your builds - from the videos I have briefly looked at - you show your Idols but only ONE idol, you do not hover over all the other idols

Now as far as I know you can potentially dupe your own items in this game since the data is stored you can technically store them in a stash then probably reload your character back and have all your gear still there - next videos can you show every Idol one by one? thanks

Around 5:33, talking about Corrupted Consciousness, you said something that baffled me: “This is multiplicative damage”. Did you mean it multiplies all damage, even from sources other than Death Seal? Or were you just referring to the “more damage per missing health” on Death Seal itself, meaning Corrupted Consciousness multiplies the damage of Death Seal but not of everything else as well?

If you 1000% damage from all sources and thsn use desth seal if multiples all that damage. Weapon passives gear everything

Ok, just to get this straight. Let’s say i use Bone Curse while Death Seal is active. i miss 66% of my maximum hp. My Bone Curse then gets affected by the damagemultiplier of CC and does 1.22 times the damage it would do without CC? Or is it just Death Seal itself, wich does 1.22 times more damage?

Look at your character sheet when you use death seal. All global damage is increased.

Edit: example i use spirit plague and get 75% increased damage over time per enemy inflicted. I afflict 4 enemies amd get 300% global damage over time. I then pop death seal with 66% missing life and that 300% global damage over time becomes 500% or what ever the multiplier is. At work domt have exact numbers

I lack the opportunity to look at a char sheet, because i deleted all characters from previous patches and don’t have a Lich atm. I’m just trying to figure out what i’m gonna play next :D.

Build seems fun so far in the videos but gosh is it a pain to level. Currently 45, I keep dying to monsters because constant 15% life and no near enough ll (yea i don’t have it in drops so far so no i cannot build) but I have followed every step

Great guide. I was planning to do something similar, but a bit face-tankier for HC purposes. Possibly dumb question:

Do the ghosts’ darts count for on hit life leech? I like the basic idea of the Wandering Spirits skill, but seems a bit unintuitive that the ghosts are hitting things at all. Would be a better thematic fit if they were focused on stuff like curses imo.
