The complaining from everyone is insane. Every game has the same similar issue on release. The only thing in my opinion would be adding a queue so everyone is not loading the same instances at the same time. The logins are spaced out a little. Load balancing is for internet not servers capability. Bandwidth optimization can help but wont fix the overlaying issue. But hardware is the major problem, but why upgrade if your server can handle 200k+ people all not in the same instance. I wouldnât upgrade I would add a queue and let people get spaced out in the story so its not flooding the same instances. This is my opinion
Pretty much what I expected the outcome to be. Happens on virtually every game release.

ok, I will give you 10k $ fix for free⊠but you owe me big time⊠spin in cloud 2 LBs for each region and attache to it few servers with auto scaling (to save costs when is possible ) ask cloud provider for fast connection - lease line with min 10gb speed (100gb preferable) then make sure developers clustered instances and serving the same content and problem solved⊠end of the story⊠next time higher someone with skills to set this right !!
Just want to offer a little bit of constructive criticism Epoch. If your going to offer a live service game make sure youâre using live servers. As a Necro Iâd even settle for an undead server right now. You sending everyone to the Offline mode is insulting, you know no one wants to play in there itâs a waste of time because youâre a âliveâ service game. See you tomorrow I guess.

So what? Itâs fair game. They got our money and we want a working service. I donât give EHG slack because I like them and LE. They messed up. They knew the sold 1mill+ copys and their servers went craycray when only 150k started the game. Itâs completely normal to be dissapointed and angry about because it seems like their multiplayer plan isnât working out at all right now. The game isnât in a EA or Beta state anymore and defending a product that is only working partly is a craycray thing to do from my point of view.

had to invent Sharding for this exact reason. I really doubt a small team like 11H will be able to manage this without using the same tech. I wonder why they havenât started with it in the first place

Man, itâs 2024 already and tons of games sucked at launch, but we still get this type of noobie problem with servers. Why canât they learn something? No game should have problems like this after D3 shit show.
