I wish we could do that, but there’s no way. People could just edit their characters to be max level and have amazing items and they would be copied to online.
So let me get this strait. you boast about a million copies sold. now your proud about 150k CCU that is 15%. you guys should have been bringing more back end support proportional with your sails to avoid this. Let Down

Sorry about your cat, and I agree with you about scalability. I don’t understand type of servers gaming companies use where they can’t scale them at all.

This is exactly it. With the amount sold, it should have been common sense to make sure there was wiggle room with the servers and the load balancers. I get it to some degree, but come on.

This happens with WoW, Path of Exile … Any big compagnies. So ya, this is expected. Victim of there success.
no one cares about offline mode in online game. fix servers. and to all saying wait. they new all this comming not being prepared is not an excuse

imagine going on Online Launch day, the fix is to go play offline mode. No one wants to play an offline character, the fact there isn’t even a login que to get into the servers is kind of alarming the devs didn’t anticipate this. Not a good foot to start on

Can Dev answer this? Will servers come online today for us who only wanna play online or can I alt+F4 and come back another day? I see no point in playing offline mode at all, no fun in that.

It’s not about servs failure. It’s about being honest that it’s inevitable. It just couldnt be the case. Look at AAA games with SV-only mechanics.

And what is happeing with my character? if I start offline can i play online with the same charcater after you fix the server problem?
Could also be playing offline maybe?

Hard to say how long this problem will last, at least imo increasing server capacity in any way shape or form would take a while
