Playing LE on mac. It’s still not updated. When I launch the game - It’s said that the version is 0.8D. The it’s loading for a while and then it reports about Authentication Error.

Meanwhile in steam it’s written that LE is up to date.

sacrifice spell doesn’t chain past 1 additional target, please fix!

I cant believe the issue of not being able to get past the character select screen and login in online mode without using a VPN isn’t mentioned here, a lot of players are “HAVING to” use a VPN just to connect to the game, and a lot of people aren’t even playing because of this, there’s multiple threads in the technical support forum about it, and I’ve sent multiple emails about this issue, nice to see its all falling to deaf ears as if we don’t even exist, I expected more from EHG tbh, truly amazed it’s not even written in the issues you know about, has anyone even seen the technical support forum? this is extremely frustrating!

The things mentioned here are not the only things that they work on. You can bet your left egg that connection and login issues right now are top priority even if the devs dont knowledge every report individually.

I don’t see the specific mention of Rogue’s shift skill start animation bug. The skill has like 0.5 second animation lock and some iframe issues in online mode. Considering it’s a short cooldown movement skill it’s pretty big. It doesn’t happen in offline mod . It also makes rogue feel giga clunky, I sometimes go in offline mode just to smooth shift around to ease the pain :frowning: should be a top prio fix.

They are aware of the issue. It’s important for Rpgue players but not not other classes…

Hello, Thanks for your hard work on this. Will the hotfix include any fix for offline players that are currently progression gated by the Empowered Timeline not unlocking bug?

There are many posts already in the bug report section but basically a number of players (all offline I believe) are completing the 3 lvl 90 monolith quests and are unable to trigger the cutscene in the middle area after doing so. If you town portal in that area and return through the portal, it will start to trigger the cut scene but freeze the game a few seconds in. You will need to restart your game after that. This is keeping a large number of players from progressing in the game. Thanks for looking into this.

I hope the minion issues also get addressed even if not mentioned (Mages being stuck as one type, abomination losing all minions it has absorbed after entering a new zone/boss fight)

Let me rant for a bit:

Yeah, but if you are playing rogue, no matter the build you’re playing with shift.

The delay may be a bit less than half a second, but in gameplay, specially if you played rogue offline is huge. Is quite unpleasant. To the point when you’re pushing yourself for T4 bosses or playing at high corruption, where you can be dead in less than a second, that small delay makes rogue near unplayable.

It gets worse if you chain shift from sync strikes, specially if you press down the shift button waiting to sync strikes to end and shift ASAP, not only doesn’t happen, the delay for no reason gets bigger, up to a bit more than a second, so, to avoid this and have only the fraction of a second you have to time shift press just after the sync strike animation ends, or worse: spam the shift button.

I understand there are higher priority global issues to work out with the next patches, but shift being delayed, or dancing strikes not working properly, this kind of things are important too.

BTW to end the rant, I reported on the bugs section 6 months ago some effects not working at all for Rogue, some didn’t work ever, other only work as item affixes but not on idols. I was even discounting these would be fixed on 0.9 for sure, but with the thousands of changes, this ones just didn’t come. I was quite disappointed being rogue my preferred class due to playstyle. The worse response I could get is “we are aware of the issue, but is only a rogue issue, so, fuck it”.

Pretty frustrating the shift issue, I told my friend to buy the game and play with me and now she just wont load it up because shift is iffy online and doesnt feel like playing any other class at the moment.

Im pretty happy to play on another class until shift is fixed but I just wonder how many people have rated it poorly simply because a couple movement ability’s did not function to standard on the multiplayer sessions.

I have played Path of Exile for a longer time than most and I remember exactly what it was like before they added lock step or predictive. So i assume things will get better.

That’s not the response they’re giving and if they prioritise it higher than a less egregious bug that affects more people then that’s entirely up to the devs (& I’m fine with that).

Yeah I feel you on that. Unfortunately both of my friends rolled rogue. They don’t want to swap and aren’t going to play until shift and the other general lag we get at times from abilities is fixed. Hopefully soon so we can all get back to it because it was fun for us all so far.

Are we getting some CPU and Memory improvements ?
The Game eats like 10gb Memory and cooks CPUs super hot.
Something is very off here.

Yeah, I know is not the response, but the acts speak for themselves…

Anyways is a bit frustrating, as playing in MP gets rid of the “oh you cheated those items” BS, and I am kind of happy to start anew and restart all the account item progression from zero.

I guess I will push my MP rogue until the wonkiness in unbearable (probably when I start raising some corruption in empowered), and wait for the fixes.
