I want to play LE with a friend who have MAC. I have Windows. So is it possible to play together?

Yes, if your friend runs the current (0.9) version of LE via a windows emulator. Mac support was (sadly) ended several years ago.

I use an Intel Mac and I Bootcamp directly into Windows to play. Works like a charm.

Then why it’s available to buy LE in Steam and mac is in the list of supported platforms. I bought it a year ago coz I thought it’ll run on my Mac.

That is very odd. I think one of the devs needs to get that fixed asap. @EHG_Kain
