You guys are having serious server issues in Europe

Regardless of the graphic setting I use Ultra or Low, everything on or everything off I stay at or below 20 fps. Regardless of “Online” or “Offline” it’s the same.

Rubberbanding all over the place and two steps forward then one step back every couple of seconds. Making the game unplayable.

Normally I run the game at Ultra 1440p @ 144fps with no issues, but since Thursday I caqn’t get it over 30fps to save my life.

Game is installed on a m2
100Mbit internet with a ping of 11

This is the second time this has happened since I started playing, I sure you find out what is going on. I heard you use Unity as a host, I hope their company imploding ATM isn’t the issue.

So far I can’t say that it was game-breaking. And I have a far worse PC than yours.
But I also have to say that today I played online for the first time really and have only rarely had the rubberbanding while leveling.

My system:
AMD Ryzen 7 Eight Core 2700
GTX 1060 6GB (driver version - 531.68)
Ram: 32 GB
Resolution: 1920x1080px
Settings: Medium
FPS: 60 capped
Harddisk: SSD Samsung EVO 870
Internet: 1.3 M/Bit

You might also want to set it to Full HD try high or Ultra and not 2K/4K with Ultra settings, because most games are not really designed for that and I’m not sure if EHG fully supports 2K/4K at this point.

They do. And it was running at Ultra 144fps until the crash.

My logfiles.

Have you the Problemes before you install the last GForce Driver or afterwards?
And or, did they notice any other things like:
CPU or GPU temperature fluctuations
Ram dropouts or leaks
Fans not spinning faster

Or have you installed in the past few days what is supposed to boost your computer:

IOrbit Driver Booster
TuneUp

and or some other useless tool?

Because it seems to me that something has sneaked into your computer and or you have possibly made a settings that drags your FPS so in the basement.

A bit about me, I’ve been working as MSCA System Administrator for over 22 years. I do not allow bloatware on my PC and I keep very good care of it in regards to driver updates and making sure nothing gets installed that might degrade its performance. Last Epoch is the only game I am having issues with in the extensive number of online games I play.

No I haven’t installed anything.

Temperatures are normal both CPU and GPU are at around 40°c due to everything being watercooled. Fans haven’t gone over their temperature speed curve.

I use DDU everytime I upgrade my GPU drivers, all other drivers are up to date as well.

Like I said the game hard locked my PC (first time any game has done that BTW) and since then performance has been crap.

Things I have done since starting this thread.

Reinstalled the game.
Run DDU again and reinstalled my GPU drivers
Made sure the game’s folders are still in my anti-virus exceptions list

As I’ve said above I can set the game to very low or ultra with no change in fps, I’m starting to think its a server issue and will be running wireshark next time I play.

I really like this game but once D4 comes out I think I’m done with it if I can’t get this issue fixed.

The last game update to L fixed this.
