Some people like the challenge of defeating content without being carried by their class.
You cant just increase all LP buy a specific number.
There are some Uniques which are almost powerfull by their own and if those get even buffed it would be silly.
LP4 is smth you actually dont need, but if you get it it feels nice.
LP3 is actually the sweetsport and those arent that rare. Only Boss unqiques shozld get a LP buff. in COF at least
yes, but how much time a char need now to be almost full equipped with LP4 items? and to have LP4 items for different builds… 3-5 years?
and when you are already lvl 100 and have a good build you need to leave on the ground most of LP0-1-2 uniques.
Farming for Shackles, LSotL and Exsang for about ten days (6-8h per day) in 500+ corruption.
Not a single 2LP+ drop… currently only checking Bazaar and running three Echoes max until I’m fed up. It was fun in the beginning but right now it’s just torture. Not my game.
ya, at least they can increase LP3-4 drop in high corruption
If you want good LP drops (on non-boss drops) you need CoF. MG drop rate is even lower in 1.0 than it was in 0.9.2 because you can simply buy those.
for 100mil+ gold…
Yes, that is how markets work. You can farm that gold by selling other items. Idols especially are always sought after.
Oh true. Just need 1.000.000.000 G for some nice pairs of 3LP Shackles.
Yes. You either spend a few days farming drops with CoF (in this case it won’t help with Shackles, since that’s a boss drop, but that just means it should be changed) or you spend a few days farming gold/selling items for it.
Yes, but o the other hand, the seller will be happy and able to buy what they want.
You make one billion in a few days? Please share your wisdom!
You had perfect rolled endgame items in a day?
I think that is key here. I am not advocating increased LP3 drop rates with this, but if they did the chase would then be to find one that has 3LP and good/perfect rolls.
Most endgame min-maxing goes like this…
- Hunt for the needed unique just to get the build functional
- Now hunt for the same unique but now with LP to make the build pop.
- Finally hunt for that unique with LP and perfect rolled stats.
My only complaint is the RNG of forging. A 1 LP unique is verging on useless / a waste of a good exalt. Even 2LP can be similarly useless.
I had perfectly rolled ancients in 3-4 days. Although the difference between a perfectly rolled ancient and a resonably rolled one (which I got in 1 day) was negligible. And you could only get 1 primal, but that was also easy to get. Usually on your weapon slot.
I’m not sure anyone is arguing that CoF couldn’t use a buff, since we’re handicapped by certain drop sources not being affected by their faction perks.
If you really want to, you can make make several millions per day. If you play 6-8h a day, like you say, just target idol and exalted echoes. Sell all your idol and all T7/2xT6 drops. Those are always sought after and someone will buy them. Even selling for 20-50k you’ll get several million gold per day.
Don’t bother selling uniques unless they’re either rare or have high LP.
That won’t bring you even close to 1 bln but nevermind.
Bazaar/MG has hyperinflation due to duping, gold seller and high corruption farming through bug using. Additionally MG has much worse drop rates.
It’s the wrong game for me and that’s it.
This is now in doubt, at least for legacy. The honeymoon period of Merchant Guild, where I hovered ludicrous bargains for the first two weeks, is over. Prices have risen to ridiculous levels, especially for chase items.
Example: 2x1 Lagonian idols with 5% increased health and a decent roll of resist.
These are a million now. In the first 2 weeks I bought literally dozens of them at under 10k.
Unsure how Cycle compares to that but unless you are sitting on a mountain of gold, MG could be a bad choice. I’d say you need to look at having over 20 mill to make MG a decent choice.
Considering the gold limit in LE is around 4 billion, you won’t see many items selling for that much. Certainly not 3LP Shackles. Those should sell for 100M.
Most players are in cycle, so that’s to be expected. It will change with 1.1 with the influx of items from cycle characters. Also, most of the EA players have over 20M gold. There’s just less players in legacy than in cycle, so supply/demand works different there.
Correct. EHG made RMT of items very hard indeed. To the point their trading mechanics actually annoy most legit players. Unfortunately they made passing vast amounts of gold between players - even total strangers - stupidly easy. Thus Gold RMTs are rife and EHG have totally failed to protect their economy thorough this lack of foresight. Did they really not see this coming?
Anyway the way things are headed, MG will become useless for anyone in endgame unless they are buying gold for real money.
Still they did manage to p*** off most players with this design, so… that’s something.
