What Affixes would you like to see added?

% chance for Warpath to proc Devouring Orb/Smite/Sigils of Hope on hit (respecting the various mana costs/cooldowns).
% chance to summon a Halberd-wielding, acid spitting, ring-of-fire ####ing Llama to fight by your side.
% chance for all @boardman21’s characters to be deleted on hit.
% chance for all @McFluffin’s & @KissingAiur’s characters to be irrevocably converted into 2h-Rogues (Kissing) or Primalists (McFluffin).
All of @Heavy’s characters voice, models & animations are swapped for Star Wars.

5% chance on kill for @Llama8 to be banned from forums for 24 hours (stackable)
5% chance on hit for @Llama8 to have a random forum post deleted permanently

Also.

Would love to see affixes thay target specific enemies types or rares/bosses such as:

73% increased damage against fire enemies
20% more damage against rares and bosses if uses an elemental skill recently

List literally could go forever

Yes, some nice belt prefixes would be good.

Boardman can pronounce all words correctly if anyone has crit recently.

One of the modifiers I miss from Sacred 1 was split, you have a % chance on hit for the mob you are hitting to spawn a copy (hp is shared between both & once split, the original can’t then split again, but the copy can).

A direct hit right below the belt

i guess truly only affix i would like to see is summon wraiths and abomination have x% less health decay

or might be to much for a affix but something like -5 summons skeletons -50 percent health deacy rate to sr or abom so we have to give up other minions to make summon wraiths and abomination lose all their health decay rate

Knockback isn’t something that is currently a thing right?

No there are no affixes related to knockback i can think of currently.

Knockback mostly is within skill spec trees.

Shield Throw deals %x more damage if it hits only 1 target - please! :slight_smile:

  • More belt prefixes

  • Penetrations expanded from just being on amulets

  • Some interesting skill interactions like we get from Idols or perhaps Idols just need some more options at this point

I’d like to see more powerful affixes with build defining characteristics that require a large negative in exchange for a very powerful positive. In line with the recent affix changes around skills, an example could be +2 to whatever mastery skill but -2 to another or even +10 passives but all resistance goes to 0.

I suppose in some way the affixes on Uniques address this, but I like the idea of sacrifice affixes what specialise a build or require a big investment to negate e.g. those negative physical resistance boots or the no longer getting crits gloves or no health leech etc.

Perhaps I just want more uniques… :wink:

i agree, i am also a big fan of trade-off stats, that are very powerful but need to be build around.

I am not sure if “normal” aiffixes are the right palce for those.

I definitely hope we get plenty more uniques with such affixes.

Maybe we also get those as implicits at some point.

Once all item types had some major base type update pass, maybe the devs can expand upon that and introduce “special” base-types… maybe “corrupted base types”, dunno.

Now we are talking… Like some of those negative passives that exist already in some masteries (e.g. dodge vs GB / bleed if hit etc)… I like things like this… For me this kind of thing harks to my favourite fantasy dnd type characters which always have a weakness to counteract the power they wield… Having an OP mage just doesnt make sense if he could blast the crap out of the world without having to take a nap… not much of a story there… :wink:

I would add Reduced health degen from skills/passives/items prefix on belts.

It’s hard to add more affixes into the game for most slots because of how tight the gearing is right now with competing stats. If any affixes are added I think it would be cool to add them where prefixes are limited. Like belts/gloves/boot/caster off hands which I find kinda boring prefix wise.

One affix I would like to remove and completely rework is movement speed. There is a lot of talk about how necessary movement speed is on boots and I am thinking about that a lot. Maybe the play is just to make it a default hybrid mod movement speed + x. Movement speed + chill avoidance or slow avoid would be cool. It would take a plain affix and spice it up more.
