Upcoming Bugfixes to overperforming Builds

are u sure about that? cause market is completely ruined by people who got to 1k-2k corruption with no effort

Get some creativity on build, and turn off your warlock / falconer class filter in your mind, it makes you blind.

No Healing Hands bug fix? They are getting 50-100k ward, and it’s more broken than some of these nerfs. It’s bugged.

You realize that the made a survey for everyone to vote, where is this streamer stuff coming from?

Thank god. Loving the wraith lord build but in group play he keeps trying to consume my friends minions.

I found several exploits that i could have abused but chose not to. I am content creator, not all of us are cheating, gold buying, short cut taking for making views.

Vast majority are thou, so not mad at you, just disappointed with my fellows

I don’t have a strong opinion either way on the approach being taken. I do however think a distinction needs to be made. With reference to a bug-fix: I would argue that it needs to be clearly shown and obvious to all that it is a bug in any case where this is applied. It is extremely easy to lose trust by making “balance changes” under the guise of “bug-fixes”. In any case where this may be in doubt, I’d argue that it’s better to hold off. The negative perceptions will build over time. TLDR: The bug needs to be obvious.

Completely subjective, and you dont think the lack of pharmaceutical price regulations are pure coincidence do you?

Obvious to who? cause every beta player instantly knew that its a bug, but new players would think getting 200-300k ward is normal

What does that have anything to do with fixing a bug? If you’re following a guide that is exploiting bugs, then you DESERVE to get FIXED. It has nothing to do with following a guide, its about putting those points into those nodes that ARE NOT functioning as intended.

IF you’re going to argue that just because you follow a guide, it shouldn’t get nerfed then, you’re wrong. SIMPLE.

So much for this being a casual arpg. Yayyy elitism!

Yes, I said some bugs won’t have an effect on balance – not all. I also say that Profane Veil is a major one. If the bug affects the strength of a character (and does not impact stability of the game!) it should not be fixed until the cycle is complete, because it never feels good to have your character weaker than it was the day before, regardless of cause.

Meanwhile, the strength of your character (even if some of it stems from bugs) does not impact my ability to play whatever character I want.

I’ll say here that I don’t care at all about the leaderboards. I understand that some people do, but I have to imagine that those people are in the vast, VAST minority of players who play games like this.

Clearly you missed the metaphor so let me spell it out to you. The bug with profane veil (or coding error if you want to call it that) is the same as a tax exploit the rich use. The government can choose to fix that exploit if they want, just as EHG can choose to fix a bug (especially when the community asked for it to be fixed). If one tax exploit gets removed, rich people will find another one. That isn’t subjective, it is literally history. The difference is the coding error exploiters are now complaining that the error is being fixed, instead of finding a new way to play the build. Lastly, why tf are we talking about drug prices now? You can’t try and compare Big Pharma to anything else lol

It doesn’t matter what label you give it, its a competitive game regardless of what you think.

It is not a tax eploit. It is other kids having 100 blue legos and you having 10 green legos. Now you are expecting EHG to take 90 blue legos away from all the other kids, because they have more legos than you and you refuse to play with blue legos. Clearly those other kids had more fun and this cannot stand!

I think if we have to ask that question, we are already going down the wrong track.
Easiest examples to show the distinction: The profane veil bug: 40% vs 4%… While a new player may not understand what is reasonable, being able to show what it should be vs what is happening is easy.
The counter to that is say… something like the vixens entrapment spell cascade fiasco that happened in poe.

lol what? Competitive how? The arena leaderboard that, what, 15 people care about? Realistically, I doubt less than 5% of players push arena to get on the leaderboard, the vast majority only touch it cause they have a prophecy for it or they want to see what the key does, then they engage in it and realize it’s not fun.

this is why IMHO this is a good thing. this set the stage for other exploits or bugs like this. if they didnt players would quickly think oh its ok to abuse and exploit.

even GGG banned a team of 5 players for the rest of the league for spotting and exploit reporting it and then kept on using it.

My family can’t stop crying man… please, come back! dont leave
