Well playing online I can’t save my cosmetics. They’ll stay on for as long as I’m playing but as soon as I log out of the character they’re gone. I’ll go back to login screen and they’re gone. All of them.
Things I’ve tried:
Turning off steam cloud sync
Deleting the contents of my Last Epoch\Saves folder.
Verifying the game files through steam Player.log (508.5 KB)
I looked through my log and file and the only thing I’ve seen out of the ordinary is an error around HMAC verification. Which I assume means the certain game files are encrypted and its failing to decrypt them I assume? It just doesn’t provide any further info on it.
Same issue here tried all steps you did … not fixed
perhaps EHG could give us the steps needed to fix the corrupt file ?
We paid for this would really like a way to resolve this
Starting yesterday (Oct 20th 2025) - I am experiencing same issue: cosmetics selection is not saved for Online characters.
More over - played earlier this month and everything worked fine, remember seeing my Beastmaster on character selection screen rocking his cosmetics - now those selections are also reset. (Happened to him w/o entering the game with the character.)
