For the past couple of months, LE has been hard crashing my computer.
The screen turns off and what sounds like all the fans in the desktop whirr up to full speed until I hard turn off the computer by holding down the power button for 8 seconds.
The steps I’ve taken so far:
- Sent computer back to supplier for warranty repair (they found no issues) and they did a full reinstall of Windows and updated all drivers.
- Replaced power supply
- Updated BIOS
The crash still occurs seemingly randomly when character is fighting stuff, character is running around the map, or character is in town. This is on many different characters. The crashes can have a week between them, or have 2-3 per day…
I have not had any crashes while in character selection so far - that said, I spend very little time there.
