I was playing the game earlier today and it crashed. When I relaunched the game, it had a new patch for me to download. I have allowed the patch to finish downloading to 100% (while saying checking version integrity… at the bottom) and every time before the game is about to start up, the patch downloader goes back to about 50% complete and restarts the download again. This has been going on for hours now. The game just won’t boot up anymore, despite the patch being processed over and over. Any suggestions?
To me it sounds like the crash likely borked something before the download and now the launcher cant tell if it updated correctly and keeps trying again… Am assuming obviously that there is no internet connection problem.
Without anything else to suggest, if i were you, I would try and verify the game files (if using Steam) and see if it repairs itself or do a full reinstall (after backing up the Last Epoch folder in Appdata just in case - dont want to lose savegames).
