It seems the shock on you is not working properly. Your resistances get lowered as stated on the shock tooltip but it doesnt revert the change back to normal, even tho the visual effect is gone after 4 seconds. Taking off the boots and/or dying do not fix it either, only relogging does.

edit: seems to also happen with the self inflicted shock from one of the lightning blast nodes, probably just shock in general?

This issue should be resolved as of Patch 0.6.1.
