Just a heads up to say that I am still crashing after the latest patch. I remember you guys saying that you would fix the “known issue” with the Nvidia card crashing. No mention of fixing any of that constant crashing in the patch logs. I took a chance and downloaded the game. Welp, took literally 5 mins and I crashed back to desktop, with a Unity crash splash in the background. Steam says I have 34 hours of gameplay but I never got past the first act, because of constant crashing. I dont exactly call that successfully playing the game. Steam only refunds 2h of gameplay so I will not get my money back from them. Will you refund me the game? Because I clearly cannot play it and I’m getting sick of this shit.
Edit : I have the latest drivers. I tried both on my RTX 2060s and my GTX 980Ti and both failed spectacularly within minutes. Game just crashes to desktop. My processing rig with the GTX 980ti sometimes gets a system critcal error and crashes. Using C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Temp/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Crashes does not display my player.log for some reasons. I cant give you the file. The same behavior as before.
I apologize, but we are unable to refund purchases made from other companies as we have no access to their payment systems, nor do ours have any information pertaining to the transaction. If you wish to request a refund for a Steam purchase, you will need to contact Valve. You can do so by selecting the purchase on this page and clicking on ‘I would like a refund’.
I will request a refund from them. I cannot acquire the player.log, as I told you. The target you provided me with doesn’t work, for whatever reason, on both machines. I cannot find the crash.log either. I’m not really interested in searching through all that shit since I had the same thing in 0.7.8f and was promised a fix next patch, which didn’t happen. I tap out.
I’ve reviewed the revision history of your post and it appears that the subsequent paragraph was edited into the post less than a minute prior to my response being posted, and thus I did not have an opportunity to see it as I had already begun typing a response.
