Greetings,
I just updated my steamdeck and Last Epoch will no longer load. It attempts to load the game and then kicks me back to the Library screen.
Anyone have a solution for me to try?

Iām having the same issue since today all of a sudden - no changes on my end!
Iām currently trying through different Proton Versions, will update if I find one that worksā¦
Thanks for trying that out. I just got my steamdeck a couple days ago. I hope this isnāt a common occurrence.

Usually SteamDeck verified games donāt have these issues. LE can be a little bit finnicky, but Iāve been playing for roughly 2~3 months without problems and this situation is a first for me.
I got LE launching now on Proton 8.0-5 - HOWEVER, Iāve also noticed that the communication between Steam Servers and LE seems to be a bit shaky at the moment. I could not login to the Forum on a second device a few minutes ago, because appearently Steam couldnāt authenticate some account related business? There might be a hiccup happening at the moment, so the launching issues could be entirely unrelated to the Proton version.
So my advice would be, keep trying to launch, possibly try Proton 8.0-5
Also, donāt be impatient like me and use the āDelete Proton Dataā option - this might delete all your item Filters (and possibly even offline characters!).

Same Problem for me. Was able to Play LE in Steam Deck the Rest of the season, but today it Just keeps crashing before even the Titel Screen comes up

I switched to Proton 8.0.5 and it allowed me into the game.

game played perfectly for the last weeks for me on steamdeck, thanks for all the improvements!
unfortunately since today: game doesnt start. just starts loading and kicks me back to steam. i hadnt made any changes on steamdeck, only a small last epoch update seemed to get downloaded today, which is probably the reason for this error.
