I have bought this game on Steam. I’ve only ever played launching with my Steam client. I still do. Yet I still get this error: “Steam is now required”…
How do I fix that?
I think I have seen a workaround in the forum.
You open Steam, and launch the game via the .exe directly

Never seen an error like that myself. I have had (and am currently having the same on the latest 0.92 version) problems with launching the game from within Steam.
Could you screenshot the error you are getting?
Trying to figure out if its from Steam itself or from the LE game - if its from the game then it may be that the link with EHG and Steam on your account needs to be checked by EHG (that needs a support ticket)… Previously, when you didnt need a Steam account, the game went through a transition phase where you had to link your Steam account so maybe something odd has happened on your account. Entirely possible I suppose.
If its Steam giving you the error, then maybe its similar to the problem I (and others) am having with the current version…
