Can anyone confirm for me if Spell Leech is working? I’ve had huge issue with it yesterday and today. I get leech from my Harvest ability but not from Spirit Plague, Fissure or Wandering Spirits. My build is completely unplayable without this so it’s quite important for my progress.

Sounds like you are getting leech from melee attack, not spell attack because out of the skills you named, only Harvest is melee skill and the rest are spells. Are you sure you are set up with spell leech instead of melee leech?
Or just generic leech.
I assume the OP is doing a reasonable amount of spell damage to be able to tell that the leech is happening. A linked build would help as well.
Yes I am. I have points in the Lich tree “Survival of the Cruel” = “Spell damage leeched as health: 4%”
No idea why it’s not working. 
What spells are you casting? Spell leech doesn’t work with with skills that are not tagged as spells.
The ones listed above in the original post. Which is why I’m puzzled. 
Oops! IDK. Don’t use the others, but Cthonic Fissure leeches fine for me. The difference is that I get my leech from Spirit Leech in the Warlock tree, since my targets are always cursed.
Well I can’t say for sure this is a bug rather than tooltip, but there’s a big difference between harvest and your other abilities. Harvest hits while the others do damage over time. A lot of sources of leech require a hit and don’t work for damage over time. So it’s possible that lich passive is coded to work with spell damage hits.
Also, there’s no way this makes your build unplayable. As someone else pointed out, if you want leech there already is leech in the warlock tree but leech is not a build enabling type of mechanic. While it’s good and useful, it’s probably not the reason you are struggling.
Hi, it is very much the reason I’m struggling with my build. I use the Titan Heart chest piece which stops health regen, and I use a 2h staff to melee. I’ve got zero health regen so Harvest and potions are my only way to get health. I was getting leech a couple of days ago, now I am not. Health leech is the only variable that has changed and as such it’s very inconvenient!

I wonder if it was a bug before and now it isn’t? Perhaps it was working when it shouldn’t and now it has been corrected? Whilst not favourable to my build, it may be a solid reason to the change.
Yeah, same. I’m not sure why it’s not working. I can only acquire health via Harvest and potions as I use the Titan Heart chest piece which stops health regen, so the leech is vital and something that’s now stopped working in my build.
It does make me wonder if a certain item is stopping the spell leech. I’ll have to try when next I log in. Thanks for letting me know yours works.
Have you put a Passive point into Hollow Lich? (that is the predecessor node of Survival of the Cruel.
This would explain the no leech, but that should also prevent leech from Harvest.
Life on hit isn’t leech, though.

Harvest has no life on hit baseline, only with a skill spec node.
OP claimed that leech is working on Harvest, that is why specifically stated, that this should also prevent that.
Harvest isn’t a spell, so spell leech wouldn’t work for it.
Yes… That is also not what OP claimed. They probably have leech from another source as well.
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve here.
We are trying to find out why Harvest has some form of leech while the spells don’t.
In practice it’s hard to tell leech from health on hit.
Leech is over 3 seconds life on hit is instanteously. Very easy to tell apart.
When you hit something and stop attacking (or enemies died) the next few seconds it should be apparant if you have leech going or not
This could all be easily solved by the OP linking their build, rather than guessing 
All the OP seems to know is Harvest is keeping them alive. My money is on Health on hit.
BINGO! I looked into this and found that it was my last point I put in my build. It says “converted” but I took that as additive to the fact I could leech also. This is not the case, it REMOVES the ability to spell leech.
I’m new, so a little overwhelmed with all the variables at the moment.

I am unaware of how to link my build, sorry. I do however know the reasons as to why it wasn’t working and it proved to be my error in point placement into Hollow Lich.
