Captain Obvious here Better tell us the conditions
I might make my self unpopular by not telling, but I don’t care.
I am sooooo glad Dammitt and Tunk have not released this information. I don’t know if they can’t figure out the exact condition or if they didn’t want to do it, but this is waaaaaay more fun for the whole community to find it out together.
Having every single detail data mined or explained to the public too early can remove alot of the fun of discovering new things.
imo not necessary for the beta state of LE where we need first of all test different things and build. After the full release I’d agree with you. But it’s up to you of course I hardly can insist on you revealing the info
That’s why we’re not telling you the conditions (as much as we’ve worked them out ourselves).
that is why I wrote ‘imo’. It is your and the devs’ decision and I do respect it of course
As has been answered regarding the various “why can’t we just create the items we want”, “why can’t we just level up as fast as we want”, questions, the game pacing, drop rates & general feel of the game (when you don’t know absolutely everything) is just as important as “does it all work”.
I hope they realize that players are driving on blindly hoping to figure out whats next. Not really a motivating scenario. Goal based play seems to me be the way to go.
The first player to figure this all out is gonna post it. So why wait for 1 PERSON? Just put the requirements out and let the player base set goals and work towards something.
None of the rare Shade Uniques are build enabling.
There are already alot of other goals you can try to reach, while also farming shades.
The new system is so fun to play in IMO, just doing echoes and get surprised by loot is enough for me already.
Also on top of that, maybe the requirement is not that easy to find out, that’s why this is a great task for the whole community to contribute.
from what I’ve heard from various people, the amulet is able to drop somewhere around 300 corruption first. I got the two-handed axe when I first ventured into empowered monoliths, aka corruption 100. I haven’t heard anything about the belt tho.
Good luck and have fun out there!
Huh? why does it matter? The uniques are nice. That axe and amulet. I dont want to build around them but I do want them
Bro, I decide what I want to do and what I set a goal for. I know I can do other stuff. I choose this.
Its a blast. I like this new system too. What surprises are you referring too? My loot tables haven’t changed at all.
We arent talking about opening the gates of AQ here. This is details on how to acquire items.
“here is some cool loot dudes” now go find out yourselves how to get it.
Then might as well get rid of this whole „community is friendly and helpful thing”. Too bad us casuals cant play 8h/day like tryhards. Oh well, we just want that hot platter on day 1.
I’m not quite sure what
has to do with
But I do know that calling people “tryhards” because they can play more than you doesn’t really fit in with “community is friendly and helpful thing”.
What is the point of this reply llama? can you not see there is a frustration among the community over this issue? Please don’t be a “nice nice nazi”
he called people “tryhards” awwwe. are ur feelings hurt? u want a hug?
There’s always going to be a tension/frustration between “tryhards” & “dirty casuals”, but calling each other names isn’t going to solve anything.
It’d just be nice if people were a bit more grown up about things & realising that there will always be people better (& worse) than them & that maybe they don’t need to get their panties in a twist about it.
If you’re frustrated about something, you always have the option to not be a dick about it. It’s less cathartic though.
Why can’t this be put out upon release? Why is this so sacred that it has to be “discovered”?
Now I can make a plan. Thank you Rayzier. 300 corruption is my goal.
Because the devs want people to experience the joy of finding stuff out by themselves, as much as that’s possible in the days in the internet.
As I’ve said before.
Because its fun for people/communities to find these things out for themselves, its very engaging.
oh please bro. u serious? Have you not learned anything yet?
In life, when people get frustrated…THEY BECOME DICKS.
Thats why its always a good idea not to contribute to their growing frustration.
oh please bro, u serious? Have you not learned anything yet?
In life, when people get frustrated… THEY CAN HAVE SELF CONTROL.
…
just sayin’.
Edit: Which I obviously did not just display very well.
