Season 2 and Beyond - Closer Look

I have to jump through hoops to skip the campaign and level a fair bit to even do it. Not really a fun option.

Major =/= popular though. Popular by definition means “widely liked or appreciated.” Major, in the way I was using it means “greater than others in importance or rank.”

Something can be major, and not be popular. It can be both major and popular, and it can be popular without being major. It could be neither.

An example of the first would be Dark Age of Camelot. It redefined what PvP in an online RPG meant with its Realm vs Realm combat and had a large following of dedicated players, but never reached the popularity of a game like WoW. It was Major, but not popular.

An example of the second is World of Warcraft. It was a major release and defined what it means to be a themepark MMO. It was both major and popular.

An example of the third is actually hard to come up with, as many things are popular because they’re a major release to their respective genre. I was going to use Skyrim, because while it did build on the foundation of Oblivion, it’s not so vastly different I’d call it groundbreaking. But it’s also a major part of the Elder Scrolls series lore wise. Using movies makes it easier. The Marvel movies have major movies like The Avengers and Infinity War, then you have stuff like… Eternals which was popular only because it was a marvel movie but didn’t really do anything for the overall Marvel plot.

Lastly, Chronicon would be a game that’s not major or popular. It’s got a decent sized following, never hit critical success and didn’t do anything groundbreaking. But what it does do, it does really well, so it wasn’t a flop

Please add a little bad luck protection for legendary crafting!!! I left the game when I failed to add movement speed to my unique boots 21 times in a row…

I dont wish 100% chance for my very 1. craft, but after 5-10 failed try I would be happy if I could choose 1 stat for 100% (for example for LP3 1 stat 100% + 2 random…).

There’s a dev chat on Twitch today (2pm). Make sure to come with lots of questions

You have to get to level 12, select your mastery class, then run 3 dungeons… Oh no the agony! It’s so hard it even takes 2-4hours :sob:

It’s probably a very long shot and I might be a very minority with this but I have to ask, if there are plans or possible at all to add WASD movement? I really wanna come back to play LE, but unfortunately, arthritis developing on my fingers and I just can’t do click to move as I used to anymore. Click to hold is fine but click to move repeatedly in quick successtion is a killer for me. I understand there may be game engine limitations in particular or there’s just no plans at all in regards, but as I said I really want to come back to LE, so I gotta ask. TIA

I also want to chime in and say that I would really appreciate WASD movement in the game.

If playing the game isn’t fun then don’t play the game. That goes for everything, our time is too precious.

I tried it in PoE2 & I’m not sure.

The game is fun except for the boring getting idols and passives. But I can’t push myself to do that part of the game to play the part I like and / or the path to skip them.

Why would you click to move all the time? You keep your mouse button pressed down and move your mouse. Click once and hold. Try it, works like a charm!

Yes, you are right about it in a general sense, but I don’t think you take under consideration every scenario, like in intense fights where I need to alternate between move and point/aim to the target where I don’t want to move in the same direction as my target is, so it becomes a requirement in order from me to achive repeated clicks in quick succession, otherwise I either move into areas where I don’t want to, or not facing my target I want to attack. Tho, I appreciate your reply and effort. Thanks.

Hmm. That part of the game doesn’t take long at all and is super rewarding for the time.

you are entitled to your opinion and me to mine. you are right you for and i’m right for me.

But if I make a season character and then make an alt in that same season i have to do it again correct?

Yes you do it for each and every character, it just doesn’t reset because a new season starts, each of those characters keep their progress.

I honestly cant wait april will be a good month for me as last epoch is still my favorite out of all the arpgs thus far

10 months… almost a year since 1.1 released. That’s more than 3 seasons content according to your own schedule… There had better be ALOT of content followed up by regular seasons. I love LE but 10 months!..

I count April 2025 being 8 months after July 2024. I’m pretty sure that’s when 1.1 launched.

I somehow got the date for LE 1.0 mixed up for 1.1 my bad. . I would however count all of July as it came out July 9th.
