Ranged Ice Minions 100% Crit Endgame Destroying Necromancer 0.8.1c

hi, if i trying lvl necro with this build, where i should spend passivo points until i reach necromancer?

Increase INT nodes and increased minion health nodes.

This build has very strong single target up to normal Rahyeh. Before the amulet nerf, I was able to phase him before the pinwheel even started. After that the bosses took progressively longer and the rare monsters felt rippier. At higher levels I often stopped to offscreen enemies instead of running all the way. Lag was also worse as I upgraded to more skeletons. So I made these changes:

  • Archmage (drop +1 mage node), Dread Phalanx
    • Less lag.
    • Fewer resummons.
    • Dread Shade on Archmage was something else.
  • -Bone Golem, -Rip Blood, +Transplant, +Drain Life
    • Screenwide attacks (e.g. Abomination, Orobyss) were scary without Transplant. The travel skill also felt like a very tangible upgrade for running through monos.
    • Personal survivability felt sketchy. Rip Blood gave a negligible amount of life/ward to me and didn’t heal my minions noticeably at max poison either. But Drain Life was very noticeable regen. I could mooch off my minions for less than they would leech while attacking. I could even get my mana back to spam it again and again for near 100% uptime in boss fights.

Do you mind sharing your skill point setup for drain life?

Do you think it’s better keep Death Rattle, switch to Eyes of Formosus or use a Turquoise amulet?
I have unlocked empowered timelines but not started them, I wondered if it was time to change my amulet since the patch hurt Death Rattle.

Could you share your entire build please?

Coral rings = 12 vitality. Cling to Life = 8 vitality. Level 85: Heresy 3/10, Apocrypha 5/10, Grave Thorns or Elixir of Hunger 1/5. Gloves and boots should have hybrid health. Plated belt is better since potions aren’t needed. Right ring fractured; it should have more int. Shield fractured; it should have damage on block. Ironglass is better without exalted block chance. Death rattle was 100 multiplier. Empowered crit avoidance and resists would be better blessings. Then I’d craft “block chance and effectiveness”, endurance threshold, or health in free suffixes. And swap resist idols for hybrid health ones.
