Ranged Ice Minions 100% Crit Endgame Destroying Necromancer 0.8.1c

Another 4 inside skill tree
Another 3 inside passive tree
And i had +1 from a hollow finger ring unique

So, i don’t understand why i can summon only 3 skeletons !!!

5 mage and 3 skelly

Did you take the passives points inside the necromancer passive tree that gives +1 maximum skeletons.?
Did you take the skill nodes that give +1 to maximum skeletons?

Did you accidently take the node that reduces maximum skeles by 50%?

On which add should cast Dread shade ? On mage ? How can I cast easily on them ? And on how many minions ?

Its better on the arhcers than the mages as they can get 100% crit easily enough and dont need the boost.

Its rather difficult to target individual minions as they all clump together and there’s no way to separate them

I just give it the 6 second cooldown and it will just cast on the nearest enemy while on auto cast.

If I understand correctly, you bind the spell on autocast and you let him choose automatically the nearest minion ?

How does the latest patch affects this build?

Less crit multi
Little bit less damage against bosses since mage projectiles cant hit the same boss
But i expect it still performs very well

To add a positive, the minion AI changes should make it feel a lot better. Even tho they are ranged, there still were a lot of “smoothness” issues with how the skellies behaved.

Any thought of running bone curse triggering rip blood combo (crimson ascension and illusion pain)? (replacing the golem)

And is enemy of my enemy worth taking to make dread shade more bossing focused? Could i also ask if you know what passive on the dread shade tree works with enemy of my enemy and what doesn’t?

Why the lack of “Sweeping Strikes” on the skeletons? 60% more multiplicative damage for skeletons sounds like it would be good.

Just wanted to say thank you for this build. I just started playing and I’m also such a necronerd, so a build like this is right up my alleyway.

My minions get 1 shot by Wengari Spire in empowered MoF (lvl 92 with 569% Minion health and 26% increased damage taken Death Rattle).

Should I change amulet? or allocate Cling to Life node for minions resistance?
or any advice?

The amulet isnt all that good anymore after the nerf. (a good roll should still be the highest dps choice though)
Frozen Eyes of Formosus does a good job until you get an really good rare one too.

26% is kind of high. Maybe try gambling for 10-15% increased damage taken
