you guys calculating area, but noone taken damage on this passive into account. 8% more dmg per dex is insane and should be nerfed too

Idk, i’m still playing my explosion ballista. At 140-150 dex, i’m currently on high 600’s corrupt and it takes me more than 1 explosion to kill mobs and plenty of deaths because I speed rush but I would never imagine playing this build in HC. How much more dex can I get and how much further can I go? With the current radius, I doubt i’ll go further than 800-1000 with ease.

If you nerf the dmg too, on top of radius, the class then, will be pretty much dead. If they decide to do such things like that which impacts heavily on a class, they need to not do that mid cycle. If it’s clearly a bug, of course you need to fix it immediately asap.

If I had a choice, I’d wish they lowered the damage and gave back a bit more area. Now I don’t expect 1 and a half screen explosions but maybe 75% of a screen, with ability to get full screen possible but of course that should bring down our damage a lot further. I wouldn’t mind grinding 300 corruptions instead.

read another passives for another classes, they most have limit like ‘30% max’.
try to find something like 8% per dex, you can’t see it anywhere, this is only one ridiculus passive. Well I found another on Net skilltree, but idk is it doable or not (“1%dmg per 1% frostbite chance or something”).

You know it’s sounds like “jeez, my passive 5 points gives me 30% more dmg wow its good, but those guys get 8% more per main attribute WTF IS THIS SHIT?” Thats how others see this passive. You know how damage formula works right? 1200% for 150 dex is fking crazy and totally wrong.

The game have (should) complexity scalation, and bugged skills like that broke that. In result what must be hard looks like easy shit, thats wrong and should be fixed.

There’s more to just looking at the main description… There are skills that work better combined with other nodes and such.

While i’m not the type of person for detail, i’m just saying my other 3 characters are way stronger overall, with higher corruption, based on my own playing. My falconer is just as equipped or more.

Don’t get me wrong, falconer hurts like crazy but as a whole, it dies in 1 hit. The class is basically a glass cannon, so i’m not surprised. While I don’t know exactly how stronger it is compared to other classes, I do know it’s paper. I do know my other classes geared just as much or less is more capable.

I never said the build wasn’t broken previously, full screen and ridiculous dmg alone, sounds scary and heavily broken. Post fix, dmg is still a joke but thats what glass cannon is, all dmg.

To still feel a further immediate fix needs to happen because it is “still” ridiculously broken is a bit much. Sounds like a personal hate for the class/build.

Ballista is ridiculously overtuned. Just play something else for a while and see. My falconer at lvl70 with maybe one exalt and some ragtag rares already deals more damage than my lvl100 druid with T22s or LP1-2s in every slot. At peak, this is gonna be like 30-50 times more damage. This is beyond broken.

And it’s not just the skill. The items, the passives, the whole rogue kit is op.

No offense but ballista falconer overtook warlocks on the ladder. Optimize.

Besides, many builds can’t get there at all. Afaik, EHG said something about 300 being the end game…

Idk, class is definitely OP or even broken if you are talking about in terms of raw dmg but I compare a build overall. Seems to not even be a top 5 class anymore to be able to solo higher corruptions (thinking 2k+).

Paladin is my top for now overall. Runemaster right after.

Both are well capable of pushing 2k+ corruption but i’m not sure about if a falconer still can.

But the bug was about the area, not the damage, so it’s the area that was decreased.

Yes but vice versa would’ve been better on the fun factor. Besides, it’s not the area that people are complaining about now, it’s the dmg. Good radius was a fun and ideal build, I don’t mind losing dmg to the point where I lose hundreds of corruptions to be able to play it as long as you are still able to breeze baseline endgame which in EHG’s perspective, is 300 corruption.

They are simply a glass cannon now and won’t last high corrupt solo vs others so Idk why everyone still on this classes case. They have broken dmg because they are a glass cannon.

Let me see someone push high corruption vs a Runemaster/necro/pally
