PATCH is coming? we need MASSIVE nerfs and buffs

I was just pointing out that if competitive players picked up those masteries, they could most likely push it way higher than 400. Nowhere near 2000, of course, but definitely higher.

An urgent nerf is needed for the falconer and acolyte, but other classes look poor

Maybe yes, maybe not.
Top sentinel players has decent margin above the rest.
No one guarantees that they are not already exceeding class expectations.

the only thing that is enabling falconer doing high coruption/arena is interaction smoke bomb + dive bomb . other rogues dont have this interaction obviously

and ward gain on shades from such infinite smoke bombs

this will get fixed asap, cause it causes server problems :slight_smile:

why don’t use ward and endurance together ?

im playing sorc and don’t feel ward is that OP, its ok cause you need lot of investment in items and skill points to make it works

its SP game you feel class is OP take other if you need more challenge lol

don’t forget warlock’s are not tanks nerf the ward and warlock’s get one shotted in the end game bosses.

Warlocks look quite tanky on paper, depending on the build. 40% DR while channeling chaosflame. Atop the 24% DR while channeling from the passive tree? Atop 2% less damage taken per curse on target? Atop less damage taken from withered enemies?

Ah, does it meet your rules of what size gap is acceptable? I’m sure the devs will be delighted to hear that.

2 weeks soon and that 2 bugs still there, thats not acceptable, they have other problems… I know but its a problem coming from launch an unfinished game with million of bugs and terrible optimization.

Damage done to ward is not affected by Endurance.

The leaderboards disagree with you. You can’t just pretend that we can’t look up the leaderboards when you say something like this. And we are talking solo leaderboards, not 4 player groups. ALL classes are viable in 4 player groups because you can play support. That way you can give a mage 60k bursts of ward using Sentinels and people can complain about mage ward.

So the reason why the #50 warlock is higher than the #1 mage, #1 primalist and #1 sentinel is Skill Issue.

That’s just as toxic as wanting the eventual and justified nerf bat to make every warlock want to quit the game or reroll.

Corruption 2300 is something happening from 4 players synergizing and stacking buffs to produce insane ward. This is not a single player or spec generating that kind of power. Although, mage and rogue and warlock damage potential kinda crazy in certain specific builds with specific pieces.

Actually, a lot of good players and some of the best players WILL DEFINITELY meta slave, thus play the class that is broken or busted or overperforming so they can optimize it. Just look at fighting games and mobas and tell me that people choose what they want to play based off nothing more than their preference.

Please learn to read, I said “1800 Corruption”. You know, the thing people actually do far more of than Arena.

No shot you’re going to tell me a class solo’ing 1800 Corruptions in Cycle 1 isn’t S++ god tier. It’s right next to Acolyte, Lich, and Falconer. Marksman and Paladin are not as good, but really up there too in corruptions.

Things like Forgeguard, Shaman, and Spellblade are absolute garbage in comparison.

That’s bad game design. Balance by recent release is stuff P2W games do.

Please stop conflating 4 player support synergy with solo play. My sentinel has some really sick ward and ward healing mechanics that strictly work on other players. That guy you keep pointing to is using multiple Sentinels and virtually 100% of their content involves pushing corruption with that group and cheesing out one of them solo as a tech demo.

Trust me, if it were that powerful on its own, you’d see countless people doing it like you are seeing with Acolytes and Falconers. You’d see it in the leaderboards, you’d see it on streams with solo play.

Stop being disingenuous to put other things into a basket when they clearly don’t belong.

Yeah, non-ward builds in general would benefit greatly from fortify. I shelved my falconer despite the mastery being really fun because trying to build defensively once I hit empowered was starting to feel like a real chore.

I play forge guard. I guess my chances on this leaderboard are pretty slim. Still i enjoy playing it and warlock being strong doesn’t change my playing experience. So why nerf it.
If you want competition check the leaderboard on your class. I don’t see any problem as long as contend is playable for the weakest class.
If some players need an easy mode class, let them enjoy it. It doesn’t spoil my fun.
