Options for remapping controller buttons reduced since 1.0

I am unable to assign the Right DPad, X or Y buttons to skills. Even if I remove them from their original\default assignment, I get an error that the button is already in use cannot be replaced.

This was not the case before the 1.0 release.

Same issue. Unable to find a work around. Tried to see if button mapping is in a config file and can’t find anything.

The input mapping settings are not saved in any sort of config file, they are saved in the registry (Current User). I think they are using Rewired, which is a tool for Unity. Luckily I had the settings that work on another system I play on, so I exported the reg settings from that system and imported it into my main system.

I’m sure there is a way to manually change the button mappings by either manipulating the reg keys or using Rewired, but I’m sure most would rather have the capability built into the game itself.

One other note is that some key binds are not intended to be changes, like the town portal button, which is the right stick press as the default and can’t be changed within the game itself. Yet others, like the minion attack command is set to the Y button, you are able to change the key to something else, but the Y button is still not available to be used for another action even though it was removed from the default minion action command…that I think is the ā€œunintendedā€ or ā€œbugā€ part.

I actually had it changed from when I played pre-release. It’s been quite a while so when I came back yesterday I wanted to change the mapping to something else and now I can’t even go back to what I had after trying to set it to default see if that fixed my issue.
