Hi, I haven’t played since Sands of Majasa update, at the time I leveled a Void Knight and was experimenting a lot with it. Now I log back it, to check new crafting and legendary stuff, and I only have my 2 main characters while sentinel is nowhere to be found.

All savegames are stored locally on your system so if anything happened to the physical file on your system then the character could be lost.
If you are using Steam, do you have Steam Cloud enabled (default)? Sometimes things can go wrong with the sync of steam cloud saves and this can cause corruption in savegames or steam incorrectly syncs the savegames (especially if you logged into steam on another system to play). If you login to Steam via a webbrowser you can view whatever Steam has saved in the cloud for you - if you are lucky the file might be there.
If the game didnt shutdown properly, then it could also be that the savegame got corrupted… all depends if the game was accessing the savegame at the time something happened.
If you dont use Steam Cloud savegames etc are in:
Bootdrive:\Users[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\
Please note that EHG has no copies of your savegames or any other files… everything is offline until Multiplayer is released.
