Okay, My stubborness will not give up

Maxroll Paladin Guide

So, I will follow this guide. But I am confused, why do they have an end game character picture of the armor on the right? I look at that and my OCD kicks in. Why do I see it? Can someone help me out who is a Max Roll writer or a guide builder? I know I am stubborn and I won’t give up on this game. I just have a lot of odd mood swings and I take medication for it. I feel like one day I feel I am doing great, the next day, NOPE I delete characters cause I don’t like my list full. Anyways look at this and help me out why am I seeing a character armor weapons etc that are like higher

Hey man,

Generally with Maxroll guides they have one build that is labelled LEVELING. But all the other builds for that class almost always assume you have a character of at least level 70 because a lot of them won’t be able to equip some of the gear necessary to making the build ‘work.’

To your specific question. If you scroll down a bit in that levelling guide, you’ll see several sections that lists different ‘setups’ (ie STARTUP, EARLY, INTERMEDIATE, FINAL.) That will generally be what walks you through things.

The GEARING SECTION will list pertinent gear. At anything lower than roughly level 65-70 gear isn’t going to be too important while you’re levelling. If there IS something important, it should be LISTED in that section.

For instance in the STARTUP gear section it lists:

  • Focus on Health and Physical Resistances affixes for defenses.
  • Use two handed weapons with Chance to Bleed on Hit and Chance to Ignite on Hit.
  • Equip Silver Rings to boost your movement speed.

Hi so when I’m leveling do I specialize in hammer throw 1-30 the whole time ??

The guide says at 5th level you respec into Rive from Hammer Throw and you’ll be using Rive until you can unlock 30 points in the Paladin tree (look at the Skills/FinalSetup Tab.
