Comments and thoughts what could be better and upgraded? hit 40.
A few things immediately come to mind.
- With Rive you’re using Foe Cleaver. But you’re currently wielding a 1h sword and shield. I’d recommend dropping Foe Cleaver and the 3 points in Bound Weapon because you’re not a Forge Guard and the Forged Weapons really aren’t doing much for you. Invest those 4 points into Concentration. I’d also consider dropping Double Stash and take Triple Strike.
- I’d drop Javelin and take Judgment. Spec into Divine Destruction, Swift Verdict and Pious Offering to start with. It’ll give you a nice big damage dealer for bosses and rares. Because you’ll be able to really make use of the Heaven’s Bulwark passive in Paladin.
- Try stacking some Attunement and Strength on your gear.
That’s my problem, I am trying to make an affix loot filter but it will not work for me and I did everything … I don’t understand how it works… I was following the max roll paladin / javeline guide…

That Javelin guide is based off assuming you have a lvl 70 character for it to work because of the gear requirement.
It tells you to follow the Sentinel Level Guide Sentinel Leveling Build Guide - Maxroll.gg until you hit 70 and can swap out.
He was told this over and over again and never listend. I don’t know how often we should tell him: “THERE IS A LEVELING GUIDE TO USE WHILE LEVELING.” Maybe capital letters help.

Then all the guides I find are actually no good at all and then the “leveling” was a freaking waste of time.

I understand you are on meds and say you have a learning disability but you’ve been given so much help and advice from others that you just seem to dismiss and ignore… you’re just straight up rude bro. @Macknum was not being toxic he was telling yet ANOTHER person who is trying to help you that it’s pointless because you literally just ignore the help. I suggest maybe the moderators stop you from posting the same exact thing over and over.
To be completely honest it comes across as if you’re just trolling people for attention.

Maybe if i chat with someone on microphone they’d actually figure me out cause i’m not trolling. I am legit serious.
Then follow the thing which you’ve been told to follow.
A learning disability makes it hard to take in information.
Not doing a single thing you’re asked to do is beyond that, that’s not learning disability that’s excusing your lack of effort on it.
Take a deep breath, then read as often as needed and with as much time as you need and do it afterwards. Try until it works.
I know OCD and learning disability together is a disaster as you try to do things a very specific way or get uncomfortable… but some things can only be done in some ways. And when you don’t follow em they don’t work, simple as that.
OP, i read you have learning disabilities and possibly on meds. i salute you for being open and honest about it. since you already revealed that info. you might as well humble yourself down a few notches.
you talk about making your own loot filter. FUCK THAT. you have problems even understanding how it works. just use a prebuilt one or better yet dont use one at all. you’ve not even cleared the campaign.
next. youre following a max roll paladin/javelin guide. bro. read the guide properly and dont skimp. if i saw the same guide as you theres 2 crucial things mentioned.
- level 48 unique javelin is a REQUIREMENT. you cant get the build to work properly without it.
- the guide assumes you’re level 70 at least.
- The build guide literally links another guide for you to level a character up to 70.
- The build guide has loot filter that you can just copy paste over for you to use.
the way i see it, the real problem is you and your ego. you’re stubborn and refuse to listen. this is not a learning disability. this is an attitude issue.
i have a real life friend back in high school that had real learning disabilities where he cant even do basic math. let alone write. compared to you, you’re much more intelligent than him. you’re selling yourself short, and perhaps intentionally. you may indeed have a learning disability but i suspect you’re using it as a crutch to hide the fact that in actual reality you’re just being very stubborn and not willing to go thru the basic steps.
its like trying to learn how to sprint before learning how to stand, not to even mention learn how to walk.
chill the fuck out and do some self reflection. you’re better than you think you are. the only one holding yourself back is your ego.

I don’t mock you. If I want to mock you I would tell you to go for it and laugh my ass of behind your back. You were told to use leveling guides a dozen+ times. I only give a free pass to someone with a learning disability so often. Do you use a leveling guide right now? It’s rather detailed and you can reread it time and time again or do you still do what you think is right leading to another toon beeing deleted just to do the next thing untill it get’s a bit hard?
I’m just simply done with packing you in cotton while I’m still impressed by your endurence. But if you intentionally fuck up over and over again by not comprehending “use the leveling guide.” I’m done.
I’ll give you an example for the smallest of my problems. I’m dyslexic. Was hell for me when I was little untill I said “So ein Zimtstrudel!” because I was even worse at swearing. So I took textbook after textbook after textbook with dictornaries and brought myself to a certain level so words make sense. I did this with help and programs I followed and it helped. Like using a guide for real would.
But I get it. The truth is hard and if my input isn’t needed I opt out and leave you in your misery and let you do your Sisyphus approach even though you pick a bigger rock on your own again and again.
He could think so and it’s okay if he thinks so and I stay away from his posts now. I’m just honest but maybe he’s used to different behaviour towrds him. I can’t tell and this point I don’t care anymore.
They’re not ‘no good at all.’ This is like saying the class you enrolled in, ECONOMICS 501, is no good at all even though the class states “REQUIRED FOR ENROLLMENT: ECONOMICS 101 AND 201”
There are often several builds for each class (i.e. Sentinel, Rogue, etc) that are SPECIFICALLY LABELLED as LEVELING.
So, you’ve mentioned a lot of the challenges you have with learning. How would you want us to help you? How exactly do we deliver HELP that will actually prove useful for you? Would it help for someone to run the game with you and every time a choice comes up to stop and explain what those choices mean? Because on a forum you might ask a question that doesn’t get answered for a couple of hours and by the time you’ve gone and done whatever you wanted before the info can be given and then you end up feeling frustrated because your choices didn’t work and the assistance is now irrelevant?
So, seriously, for those of us that are really trying to help, HOW DO WE DO THIS? WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO YOU?
