4 points and 100% mana gen seems very underwhelming when dealing with large mana pools. If we could get it to 175 - 200% that would be awesome, just allot a lot of points into it so someone (like me) really has to build into that aspect of it over the other perks. Playing my hand of judgement build and I can’t reduce the cost of the spell by much, so I’m trying to use Rebuke like a mage uses Focus but it feels a little undercooked.
Yeah, there’s a fairly long post complaining giving feedback about the same problem here. Fortunately the Sentinel has some good options to get mana on hit with either spells (Smite) or melee (Rive, Vengeance, Multistrike) depending on which direction you’re going.
One thing thats not going to happen is us getting enough regen modifiers to make passive regen able to allow us to “spam” (I know you’re not asking for that) expensive high damage skills. The devs want mana costs to be something we consider.
Yeah, I don’t really think that it’s “supposed” to be used with that kind of expectation/experience in mind. Rebuke is primarily a defensive cooldown with some other things tacked on the side (& it’s quite an old tree, so who knows, they may decide to update it one of these days). So yeah, if you’re hoping to use it as a mana gen cooldown to allow you to use your expensive skill more frequently then you’ll likely be disappointed.
