This is a very similar problem to Mouse and controller clicks lose functionality when an Xbox360's A button is reassigned
I was playing around with the input settings using an XBOX Controller. I removed A from Move. A could still be used to click around in the menu. Then I re-assigned A to move and I got a warning that A was bound to some other action (but A was not shown on any of the other actions, so it might be something that is not visible in the input menu). I confirmed it. After that, clicking the A button on the controller, clicking mouse buttons, and pressing ESC did not do anything anymore and I had to force quit Last Epoch.
