Mouse and controller clicks lose functionality when an Xbox360's A button is reassigned

Example Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Boot Last Epoch with an Xbox360 controller and sign in.
  2. Open Settings>Change Input Keys.
  3. Under Controller, reassign the controller’s A button to Use Ability 5.
  4. Use the controller to mouse over the Done button and tap A.

Expected Results:
The game should register a click from the controller.

Actual Results:
The game no longer responds to click actions.

Notes:
This occurs when the A button is reassigned to any slot, even if it is unassigned and then replaces a slot it was already in.

When this occurs, the user must force quit the app and reboot it in order to regain click functionality from either the controller or the mouse.

Other confirmation click problems occur when the A button is assigned to any function other than Move. For example: assigning A to Inventory will cause the Inventory menu to appear even when attempting to confirm an Options menu item, forcing the user to have to use the mouse to reassign the controller’s A button back to Move and reboot the game due to the loss of functionality.
